Step 1. Sketch a circle and a face for the head
Step 2. Sketch a large rectangle under the head
Allow reasonable space between the head and the rectangle for the neck. Divide the rectangle into 4. The first segment at the top should be 1/5 of the other side.
Step 3. Add guide lines for the body shape
Draw a vertical line and on the third and fourth rectangular segments, draw the curves of the body.
Step 4. Draw the neck as 3 vertical lines
Step 5. Add 2 slashes to connect the center of the neck to the ends of the rectangle
Step 6. Draw the outline of the base of the body
Step 7. Erase the design lines and add more details
Step 8. Color the body however you like
Method 5 of 5: Alternative Male Bodies
Step 1. Sketch a circle for the head
Step 2. Sketch the face
Step 3. Sketch a large curved rectangle under the head and a circle of the same diameter
Allow reasonable space between the head and the rectangle for the neck.
Step 4. Add guide lines for the feet and hands using lines and circles
Step 5. Draw the neck and waist details
Step 6. Sketch the basic guide lines for the legs and arms using circles and ovals
Use circles for the palms and joints.

You can add clothes but make sure to follow the shape of the body.
