You do not need to buy fake nail glue that is sold in the market. You can make your own fake nail glue at home! Use materials and supplies you have at home to make fake nail glue. Mix PVA glue and clear nail polish using a cotton bud. After that, apply nail glue to attach false nails or glue damaged nails. Let the glue dry for about 10 minutes and enjoy the results!

Part 1 of 3: Mixing the Ingredients
Step 1. Cut the end of the earplug
Prepare earplugs and scissors. Position the scissors at one end of the earplug, on the cotton. Cut off the end of the earplug and throw it away. Save the earplugs that have one end cut off for the next step.
This will be used to stir the nail glue ingredients
Step 2. Pour 1 cup of PVA glue into a bowl
Prepare a measuring cup and bowl. Pour PVA glue into a measuring cup to measure the amount. After that, pour the glue into the bowl. Don't forget to scrape the sides of the measuring cup so that no PVA glue remains.
Since the color doesn't really matter, you can use white or clear glue
Step 3. Add 7 ml of clear nail polish to a bowl
Prepare a measuring spoon. Open the cap of the nail polish bottle and pour the contents into a measuring spoon. After that, add the clear nail polish to the bowl containing the PVA glue.
7 ml of nail polish is generally half a bottle of standard nail polish
Step 4. Stir the two ingredients for 2-3 minutes using a cotton swab
Make sure that the part of the matchstick that has been cut is in the bowl, not the one with the cotton on it. Mix PVA glue with clear nail polish until evenly distributed. Don't forget to scrape the sides of the bowl with a cotton swab so that the glue and nail polish mix well.
Hold the earplug by the end with the cotton swab
Part 2 of 3: Applying Nail Glue
Step 1. Apply glue to the entire surface of the nail if you want to use fake nail glue
Dip the cut end of the matchstick into the nail glue. After that, start applying nail glue on the surface of your natural nail. Start at the cuticle of the nail and then rub the glue towards the tip of the nail. Apply nail glue in even strokes to coat the entire nail surface.
Do not use the cotton tip of the earplug. Cotton fibers may stick to the nails
Step 2. Apply fake nails and press for 10 seconds
Position the false nails over your natural nails. Make sure the false nails are in line with the nails. Place the false nail on the nail surface and press it for about 10 seconds. Make sure your hands don't move while pressing the false nails. This is done so that the false nails do not slip and change position.
By doing this, the false nails will stick in the right position
Step 3. Apply glue to the broken nail to glue it back together
If you want to glue a broken or damaged nail, you don't need to apply glue all over the nail. Just dip the cut out part of the earplug into the nail glue. After that, apply nail glue on the damaged nail.
Nail glue will not heal damaged nails. However, nail glue can help re-glue the broken nail and prevent it from getting damaged
Part 3 of 3: Drying, Storing and Removing Nail Glue
Step 1. Let the nail glue dry for 10 minutes
When using nail glue to attach fake nails or repair a broken nail, the glue dries pretty quickly! Place your hand that has been applied nail glue on a flat surface. Make sure you don't move your hands while the glue is drying. This is done to prevent the false nail position from changing or the nail getting damaged.
If glue is used to attach the false nails, gently press the false nails to check if the glue is dry or not
Step 2. Store nail glue in a clean nail polish bottle
If you have unused nail glue, you don't have to throw it away! Take an empty nail polish bottle and pour nail glue into it. After that, close the bottle with a nail polish brush until tightly so that the nail glue doesn't dry out.
Alternatively, you can clean used nail polish bottles by soaking them in nail polish remover. After that, rinse the bottle with clean water. Allow the nail polish bottle to dry before adding nail glue to it. Don't forget to clean the brushes too
Step 3. Soak nails in nail polish remover solution for 45 minutes to remove nail glue
Removing false nails or removing nail glue is quite easy! Pour the nail polish remover solution into a bowl, then soak your nails in it. After the false nails are removed and the nail glue is gone, wash your hands with soap and warm water.
