Is your storage media unable to be opened with a double click even though the antivirus says it has removed the virus? Follow the simple procedure below.

Method 1 of 2: Using Command Prompt
Step 1. Open a command prompt
Press the Windows key, then Run, and type "cmd". Press enter.
Step 2. Type "cd\" and hit enter to go to the root directory c:
Step 3. Type "attrib -h -r -s autorun
inf and hit enter.
Step 4. Type "del autorun
inf and hit enter.
Step 5. Repeat the same process with the other drives, type "d:
and do the same.
Then next "e:" and restart your computer.
Step 6. Restart your computer and you are done
Enjoy the freedom to open your hard disk with a double click.
Method 2 of 2: Editing the Registry
Step 1. Go to any folder
In the menu at the top open Tools Folder Options, which is next to File, Edit, View, Favorites.
Step 2. A window will appear after you click on the folder option
In that window go to the View tab and select the option Show hidden files and folders. Now uncheck the option Hide protected Operating system files. Click "OK".
Step 3. Now open your drive (By right click and select Explore. Don't double click!)
Delete autorun.inf and MS32DLL.dll.vbs or MS32DLL.dll (use Shift+Delete because it will delete files forever.) on all drives including Handy Drive and Floppy disk.
Step 4. Open the C folder:
WINDOWS to delete MS32DLL.dll.vbs or MS32DLL.dll (Use Shift+Delete).
Step 5. Open Start Run Regedit and Registry editor will open
Step 6. Now navigate to the left hand panel as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Software Microsoft Windows Current Version Run. Now delete the MS32DLL entry (Use the keys on the keyboard).
Step 7. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Microsoft Internet Explorer Main and delete the Window entry titled “Hacked by Godzilla”
Step 8. Now open the group policy editor by typing gpedit
msc in Start Run and hit enter.
Step 9. Go to User Configuration Administrative Templates System
Double click on the Turn off Autoplay entry then Turn Off Autoplay Properties will appear. Do as below:
- Select Enabled
- Select All drives
- Click OK
Step 10. Now go to Start Run and type msconfig there and hit Enter
The system configuration utility dialog will open.
Step 11. Go to the startup tab in it and uncheck MS32DLL
Now click Ok and if the system configuration utility asks for a restart, click exit without restarting.
Step 12. Now go to Tools Folder Options in the top menu of a few more folders and select Do not show Hidden files and tick Hide operating system files
Step 13. Go to your Recycle Bin and empty it to prevent possible MS322DLL
dll.vbs is there.
