If you're a Harry Potter fan, you might like to be surrounded by stuff from books and movies. But sometimes these items are increasing and the price is a bit expensive. Fortunately, there are many easy ways to make Harry Potter items at home, often requiring little or no cost.

Method 1 of 3: Making Magic World Items
Step 1. Make a stick out of chopsticks
Harry has to go to Diagon Alley to get his wand, but you can make your own at home. For this job, you'll need 37cm bamboo chopsticks, brown acrylic paint, a foam brush, hot glue, and a glossy finish spray paint.
- Use hot glue to glue the bottom third of the chopsticks to make the stick handles. Use between 1-2 coats of glue to make the handle very thick.

- Use a marker to draw two wings on the cardboard. The wings of the snitch ball should be small enough to fit on the ping pong ball.
- Use scissors to cut the wings.
- Carefully apply hot glue to the ping pong ball to create an intricate design of your choice.
- While the glue is still hot, attach the wings to each side of the ping pong ball.
- Spray two coats of spray paint on the ping pong ball and wings.
- Glue a thread with hot glue to the top of the snitch ball and hang it on the Christmas tree.
Step 3. Make your own time turner
Hermione used the time turner to take extra classes and now you can make your own version at home. For this job you will need gold spray paint, wire, 3 different sized key rings, hot glue, and small beads.
- Take two small beads and attach them to the wire. Glue the beads with hot glue so they sit in the center of the wire.
- Insert the wire into the smallest key ring, so that the bead is in the center of the key ring.
- Thread the wire through the medium key ring, so that the beads and small key ring are in the center of the medium key ring.
- Wrap the excess wire around the medium-sized lock ring to keep it in place.
- Thread the wire into the largest key ring so that the two smaller key rings and the bead are centered.
- Wrap excess wire around the large lock ring to keep it in place.
- Spray gold spray paint on the time tuner.
- Allow the time turner to dry on its own for 25 minutes, before removing any excess wire.
Step 4. Make a Harry Potter textbook
Every year Harry has to buy a new textbook to study in class, but you can make your own very easily. For this job, you'll need some used books (used textbooks are preferable), craft paper, a printer, glue, and photo editing software like photoshop.
- Measure the front, back, and volume of the book. Create a book cover design in Photoshop that is the same size as the front, back, and bindings of the book.
- If you don't like using Photoshop, look for Harry Potter book templates online. Be sure to re-measure it so it fits the book.
- Cut craft paper with a size of 21 x 27 cm and print the design on the paper.
- Attach the printed design to the book using glue or adhesive. Cut off the excess paper in the book and display the book on a bookshelf or coat.
Method 2 of 3: Making Delicious Harry Potter Food and Drink
Step 1. Make butterbeer at home
Butterbeer is one of the most popular drinks in the wizarding world and now you can drink it any time you want. Method 3 of 3: Making Harry Potter Stuff
Step 1. Make the Harry Potter mug as you wish
If you have a favorite quote from the Harry Potter books, you can use it as inspiration for a Harry Potter-themed mug. For this job, you will need a white mug and some colored markers.

- Apply a small amount of decoupage glue to the back of each cardboard label, then attach the label to each bottle. Wrap a rubber band around the labeled bottle to allow the glue to harden.
- Let the bottles dry, then play with them or display them if you prefer.
Step 3. Make a Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows T-shirt
If you have a white t-shirt, black paint, and a paint brush, you can make a Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows t-shirt.
- Slip a piece of cardboard between the layers of the shirt. This will keep the paint from penetrating the back of the shirt.
- Make a triangle using the paint on the shirt. The triangle should fill most of the space on the shirt. If the color of the triangle is not dark enough, paint again.
- Draw a line from the top to the bottom of the triangle. Make the lines darker if necessary.
- Draw a circle inside the triangle to complete the Deathly Hallows image. Make the circle darker if necessary. Let the shirt dry before wearing.
- If you prefer to draw by hand, you can also look for templates online and use them to create drawings.
Step 4. Make an owl from a paper plate
