“Two beef hamburgers, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun!” Is this? BIG MAC! You know you want it, but you don't want to drive to McDonald's, so how do you get it? Making this recipe is easy and fun – and you can do it yourself!

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Step 1. To make the sauce:

Mix all the sauce ingredients together, and blend the mixture until smooth. Store in the refrigerator for about an hour before using to let the flavors mix.

Step 2. Prepare the bread

Take the hard part of the bread or in other words the hard top and bottom, and give it to the birds to eat, use as a coaster, or throw it away if you want as this part is not required in this recipe.

Tips

  • You can double the amount of hamburger meat on the sandwich to create a Big Mac.
  • Try adding a little more special sauce.. it won't hurt!
  • According to some websites (as stated in the food.com website source below), part of this seasoning is Thousand Island seasoning. Try one bite. You will see that Thousand Island is what part of this sauce.
  • Try adding some tomatoes, swapping chopped onions for sliced onions, and using a sheet of Roman lettuce. It will still have the Big Mac "vibe" - it will add to the stronger taste.
