This wikiHow teaches you how to use WhatsApp's “Broadcast” feature to determine which WhatsApp contacts have your phone number. Keep in mind that someone can message you via WhatsApp, without saving your contact number in their contacts. In addition, this method may not be effective for contacts who rarely use WhatsApp.

Method 1 of 2: Via iPhone
Step 1. Open WhatsApp
Tap the WhatsApp app icon, which looks like a white telephone receiver and a speech bubble on a green background.
If you are not logged into your WhatsApp account on your phone, you will need to follow the initial setup instructions that appear on the screen before proceeding to the next step
Step 2. Touch Chats
The tab with the speech bubble icon is at the bottom of the screen.
If WhatsApp immediately displays the chat, first tap the “Back” arrow button in the upper left corner of the screen
Step 3. Touch Broadcast Lists
It's a blue link in the upper-left corner of the screen. After that, a list of broadcast messages (currently active broadcasts will be displayed.

It's at the bottom of the screen. After that, a list of contacts will be displayed.
Step 5. Select at least one contact who can be sure to have your phone number
It takes at least one user who can be sure to have your number on the broadcast list.
Step 6. Select the contact you want to check
The contact to select is the contact you are asking about (in this case, whether it has your phone number or not).

It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. After that, a broadcast message will be generated and a chat page will be displayed.
Step 8. Send a message to the group
Touch the text box at the bottom of the screen, type a short message (eg test), and tap the "Send" arrow button

Step 10. Open the sent message info menu
To open it:
- Go to page " Chats "WhatsApp, touch" Broadcast Lists, and select the broadcast list to open it.

Anyone who doesn't have your phone number in their contact list will not receive the broadcast message as a chat so their name will only be shown in the " DELIVERED TO " segment.
If you see the name of the contact in question in this segment, there's a good chance he or she doesn't have your contact number

Step 1. Open WhatsApp

- Keep in mind that contacts who have your phone number but rarely use WhatsApp won't be shown in the “Read” section until they use the app again.
Step 12. Check the "Delivered" segment
Anyone who doesn't have your phone number in their contact list will not receive the broadcast message as a chat so their name will only be shown in the " DELIVERED TO " segment.
