In Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Diamond Camouflage is a hidden feature applied to weapons. With Diamond Camouflage, the part of the weapon that is normally covered by camouflage will be coated in a shiny diamond texture, while the exposed part will be gold. This hidden feature is not very complicated to unlock, but it will take a little while before you can unlock it.

Part 1 of 2: Eligibility
Step 1. Unlock all weapons of a certain class
Play the game and make sure that all weapons in a certain class are active and can be used.
- Weapons can be activated only when your character reaches a certain level (for example, R870 MCS can be used if your character reaches level 4).
- Completing missions and battles in multiplayer mode is a great way to keep earning experience points (XP). You can level up much faster.
Step 2. Activate Gold Camouflage for each weapon in a given class
Diamond Camo will be available immediately after you unlock Gold. Gold Camouflage is the last camouflage that will be unlocked after you complete all the challenges for each weapon. In order to unlock the Gold Camouflage for a particular class, you must:
- First activate low-level camouflage for every weapon, from DEVGRU to Kryptek Typhon. To unlock this camouflage, you must get a certain number of kill streaks (kill a certain number of enemies using a predetermined weapon to activate the camouflage).
- Unlocks mid-level camouflage, from Carbon Fiber to Skulls. To unlock it, you must get a medal. Medals are awarded to you when you perform special moves, for example the Revenge Medal is awarded if you kill an enemy who killed you first.
- Note that each weapon has its own kill and medal requirements. However the rules for unlocking camouflage for each weapon and class remain the same.
Part 2 of 2: Makeover Weapons
Step 1. Open the Weapons menu
Once all weapons in a class have Gold Camo, Diamond Camouflage will be unlocked for that class. Open the main menu and select Create a Class from the list of options. The Weapons screen will open.
Step 2. Choose a weapon class
On the Weapons screen, you will be asked to select a class. Use the directional buttons to browse the classes, which will open the Weapon Class screen.
On the Weapon Class screen, browse to and select a weapon. After selecting a weapon, press the Personalize Weapon button to start grooming it
Step 3. Upgrade your weapon with Diamond Camo
On the Personalize screen, click the Camo tab at the top left of the screen to see all the camouflage that can be used. Scroll down the screen, and right next to Gold Camo, you will see a new camouflage called Diamond.
