If you want to play high rounds, or just want to serve as a medic, then the lightning bow is a suitable weapon for you in the Der Eisendrache map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. However, the process is not that simple, even if you already know how to get a bow, it can be done. This wikiHow teaches you how to obtain a Lightning Electric Bow.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Obtaining the "Wrath of the Ancients" Bow
Step 1. Feed 3 dragons on the map
Make sure the dragons eat the zombies before you kill the other zombies.
- There's a dragon in the lower field near the rocket section for rocket shields, just outside the trap gate/ Double Tap.
- There's one in the building above the Undercroft (Room 0G), across from the electric trap.
- There's one in Undercroft (Room 0G), on the opposite side of the wall where the PAP is.
Step 2. Take the bow
After you've fed all the dragons, head to the Undercroft (Room 0G), go up the stairs, and you'll find this bow.
Method 2 of 2: Upgrading Weapon to Lightning Bow
Step 1. Shoot the dragon's weathervane
These blades are near the killing ray engine, and are at the top of the funnel-shaped roof near the death ray. Shoot the dragon symbol until it starts spinning. Arrows will appear from the wall.
Step 2. Take the arrows
This action will start a new upgrade quest.
To complete this quest, you cannot pick up any other new upgrade quest items
Step 3. Shoot the 3 bonfires/woodpile outside the map
The three bonfire locations are as follows:
- The first bonfire is right next to the clock tower off the map.
- Next bonfire east of KRM wall buy.
- The final bonfire was on the rocket pad, with lots of twigs on a rock platform.
Step 4. Descend into the Gravityless Space (Undercroft)
This is the room with the pyramid plate and the blue wind icon on the wall.
Step 5. Run to all the symbols on the wall
Wait for the antigravity cycle to start and run to the five solid wind symbols on the wall. You must not touch the ground. If you hit the ground, you'll need to run back down the wall to touch all the symbols. This trick works if you hear a signal after hitting the last wind panel.
If the pyramid is not lit, the low gravity cycle will not occur. To light up the pyramid, stand on the 4 blue pyramid symbols in the Undercroft
Step 6. Fill the jars around the map
Kill the zombies around the electric urn to fill it with souls. The locations of these jars are as follows:
- In the small room above Double Tap.
- On the ground below, near the jump pad and build table.
- The last jar is on the rocket pad near the teleporter.
Step 7. Shoot the bonfire back with electric arrows
To charge an arrow, stand near a full urn and pull the arrow back as if it were going to shoot hard. Then, shoot the bonfire with an electric arrow. If it misses, you will need you need to reload arrows.
Step 8. Get the electric arrow from the vane point
Go to where you took the arrow. You will see an electric spark in that place. Press and hold square for PS4 users, or X on XBOX to place an arrow into an electric spark. The arrows will fly up into the dragon's wind vanes. Wait for the arrow to drop again before it can be retrieved.
Step 9. Bring the arrow to the Gravityless Space (Undercroft)
After taking the arrow from under the cardinal vanes, bring it back to the undercroft. This is the room where you run on the wall to get 5 wind symbols.
Step 10. Place the arrow inside the lightning crate
There are four chests around the pyramid inside Undercroft. Look for the one with the lightning icon. Hold down square (PS4) or X (XBOX) to start charging arrows.
Step 11. Kill the zombies
To fill arrows with souls, kill zombies until the box stops taking souls.
Step 12. Place the bow in the box
Put on your bow and walk to the box. This box will take your bow and modify it. Wait a moment for the upgrade to complete.
Step 13. Take the bow
When the arc has finished upgrading, walk over to the box and press square for PS4 and X on Xbox One to pick it up. Congratulations, you now have a lightning arc.
Tips
- You are done feeding the dragon when the dragon breathes fire, returns to stone, and disintegrates.
- When shooting bonfires, try asking a friend to help distract the zombies. If you're playing solo, try building a crawler.
- All the bonfires are on top of stone platforms.
- The jar is full when no more soul enters it.
Warning
- You can only shoot one electric tornado at a time so when you shoot a tornado at Panzersoldat, try your best to use regular fire, or use another weapon.
- When you are about to take the electric arc, wait for the symbol to appear with a tornado in the upper left corner. Try to pick it up early so you don't get caught by the zombies and die right away.
