Do you play Minecraft? Have you spent a lot of time mining, surviving, fighting and building things? Are you getting bored and don't know what else to do? Don't worry, this wikiHow contains a guide to "beating" Minecraft. This article is for the English game Minecraft.
Step
Part 1 of 5: Gathering Supplies
Step 1. Gather supplies
This is a fairly important stage. You need to find certain supplies that are needed to find out the location of the Castle (Stronghold) and access the final stages of the game.
In order to follow this guide, you must have mastered the basic techniques of playing Minecraft
Step 2. Start mining ore
You will need at least 5 diamonds, 64 iron, and some piles of coal. You also need at least 7 diamonds to make a sword, pickaxe, enchantment table. If you want to make armor, you will need more diamonds.
This stage will take a lot of time
Step 3. Make tools and armor
You need at least 1 diamond sword, 1 diamond pickaxe, 1 set of armor, 1 bow, some arrows, and a sufficient amount of torches.
Step 4. Start mining obsidian
You need obsidian to open a portal to the Nether world.
- Use a diamond pickaxe to mine obsidian.
- You can also use obsidian to make a magic table. This table can help you when fighting dragons or when playing in the world of Minecraft.
Step 5. Collect Ender pearls
Ender pearls can be obtained by killing Enderman. Ender pearls have a wide variety of uses. Therefore, collect at least 20 Ender pearls. Some of the uses of Ender pearl are:
- Teleportation. Right click while holding the Ender pearl to throw it. Once thrown, you will be automatically transferred to where the Ender pearl landed. This ability is especially useful when near ravines, in large caves, and in the Nether realm.
- Ingredients for making Eye of Ender. You can use Ender pearls to make Ender eyes.
Step 6. Create the Eye of Ender
This is an important stage to be able to find out and unlock the location of the final stage of the game. You can make an Eye of Ender by combining Blaze Powder with an Ender pearl in the crafting menu.
- This recipe does not require a specific blending pattern. Therefore, the ingredients for making this recipe can be placed in any crafting box.
- Flame powder can be made by placing fire sticks in any crafting menu box.
Part 2 of 5: Using the Portal to the Nether World
Step 1. Create and activate a portal to the Nether world
To make a Nether Portal, you need at least 10 blocks of obsidian. Make a rectangle that is 5 blocks high and 4 blocks long (don't mind the angle; you can use any block to fill it). After that, ignite the inside of the rectangle using flint and steel. The inside of the rectangle will turn purple and make a unique sound.
Step 2. Enter the Nether world
Stand in the portal and wait for 4 seconds to enter the Nether world. Make sure you bring flint and steel to rekindle any portals that might be damaged by Ghasts (ghosts that emit fireballs). In addition, make sure you bring enough food supplies so you don't go hungry.
Step 3. Find the Nether Fortress
The Nether Fortress is a building in the Nether world that contains a Nether Wart and a Blaze spawner. These buildings are generally quite difficult to find. Therefore, this building may take a long time to be found.
Step 4. Defeat Blaze and collect Nether Wart
When defeated, Blaze will drop fire sticks that can be used to make potions and memda in reaching the final stages of the game. You need a large number of fire rods.
Nether Wart is a key ingredient in potion making. This plant only grows on Soul Sand (Soul Sand). Therefore, collect some Soul Sand blocks (these blocks are brown with a face-shaped pattern) and start planting these plants near your base. Nether Warts can generally be found on the steps of the Nether Fortress that lead up and grow over 2 small squares
Step 5. Make a table for mixing drinks (brewing stand)
This tool can be used to make potions that can help you when you fight the final boss.
Part 3 of 5: Finding the Castle
Step 1. Throw the Eye of Ender
The Eye of Ender will fly and move towards the nearest Castle. This castle is a rare underground building. To throw it, right-click while holding the Eye of Ender (or by tapping “Use” if you're playing Minecraft Pocket Edition).
Step 2. Repeat the previous steps until the Castle is found
One indication that the Castle has been found is when the Eye of Ender begins to fly towards the ground.
1 in 5 Eye of Ender will probably be destroyed after use. Therefore, bring the Eye of Ender in large quantities
Step 3. Dig up the found Castle
You may have to dig through the ground to find the Castle.
Step 4. Secure the area
The found castle is inhabited by a lot of enemies, so immediately secure the area and start lighting up the Castle with a torch.
Don't dig straight down because the End Portal Frame is generally just above the lava! If you're not above the End Portal Frame, you can still fall into the cave and hurt yourself. In addition, you may also be attacked by the monsters in it
Part 4 of 5: Entering the World of End
Step 1. Find the End Portal
Each Castle has 1 End Portal. You need this portal to enter the world of End.
Step 2. Activate the portal
To activate the portal, you must fill it with the Eye of Ender. Grab the Eye of Ender and insert it into the empty block inside the portal. Repeat this process until all the portal blocks are filled with Eye of Ender.
Step 3. Enter into the portal
By doing this, you will enter the world of End.
Lava under the portal will not hurt you once the portal is activated. If the portal has not been activated, you will be burned with lava and lose all the supplies you carry
Part 5 of 5: Fighting the Dragon
Step 1. Get ready to fight the boss
The boss of the End world is called the Ender Dragon (Ender Dragon). The Ender dragon will fly around the skies of the End world. You have to kill him to beat the Minecraft game.
- Be careful when dealing with Enderman. Enderman appeared frequently in this world.
- Saving, loading and exiting the game while in the End world and you are not dead will cause a second Ender Dragon to appear. Make sure you have enough time to finish the battle with the Ender Dragon.
Step 2. Find the Ender Dragon
The Ender Dragon will appear after a few minutes. Take this opportunity to prepare yourself by organizing your luggage.
You will probably appear underground. To solve this problem, just dig yourself up
Step 3. Destroy the Ender Crystal
This crystal is located at the top of the obsidian tower. This crystal can heal the Ender Dragon.
You can destroy it in any way, including using snowballs. It's best not to destroy Ender Crystals at close range as the crystals will explode when crushed. Some crystals are generally protected by iron blades
Step 4. Defeat the Ender Dragon
You can attack the Ender Dragon using a sword, bow, or explosives. Dragon Ender is immune to lava, fire, and potions. However, potions that can increase your abilities are very useful in this situation.
- Since sleeping in the End or Nether world will cause an explosion, you can use the bed to harm the Ender Dragon. Place the bed in front of you, back off, then try to sleep when the Ender Dragon approaches.
- In Minecraft PC, Dragon Ender is immune to arrows when he perches on a portal.
Step 5. Collect loot from Dragon Ender
Dragon Ender will drop XP up to 70 levels. In addition, after Dragon Ender is defeated, a portal to exit will appear.
Step 6. Use the exit portal
Step 7. Beat Minecraft
When you successfully “conquer” Minecraft, you will appear in the normal world after the credits are finished. You'll also bring along tools, supplies, and level XP that you get from Dragon Ender!
- After defeating the Ender Dragon, you can enter the End world at any time. Some valuable items can be found in the End world, such as Enderman which can produce Ender pearl, obsidian, and End stone which is a strong material to withstand explosions.
- The 1.9 Minecraft Java edition update (or what is called the Combat Update) adds the City of End and the Ship of End.
Tips
- Wear a pumpkin when entering the world of End. The world of End is inhabited by a large number of Endermans, unless you play on the lowest difficulty. When worn, the pumpkin may interfere with your vision. However, pumpkins can prevent Enderman from attacking you. If the pumpkin really bothers your eyes, download and install a different pumpkin texture.
- Wear at least a diamond breastplate. When the Ender Dragon approaches and attacks, you will not be hurt.
- To kill the Ender Dragon, you can use the bed. This is because the bed can produce a bigger explosion than ordinary explosives.
- If you are in Creative mode, you can create an End portal. Follow the guide above. However, when placing the Eye of Ender, do not fill any of the End portals. To place the final Eye of Ender, enter the portal and place it.
- You can conjure armor to make it impervious to fire. This can help you when fighting Blaze.
- You can use snowballs to destroy crystals or kill Blaze.
- If you have good timing, you can hurt the Ender Dragon by destroying the crystal when the dragon flies nearby. This is a good method to kill the Ender Dragon because you don't need too many arrows. When the crystal is destroyed, the Ender Dragon will become weak.
- Be careful when moving in the End world. If you fall, you will fall into the abyss and die. All your belongings will be lost.
- Try shooting Ender Crystals instead of climbing towers and destroying them at close range. Crystals will explode when destroyed. Therefore, be careful.
- The best way to fight the Ender Dragon is to use a bow with Power and Infinity magic.
Warning
- You can die in the End world.
- Using the bed as an explosive can cause a fire
- If you don't have a pumpkin, don't look Enderman in the eye. When you look into Enderman's eyes, he will start attacking.
- Don't provoke Enderman when it's at the end of the End world. Enderman will hit you. After that, you will fall into the abyss and die.
