This wikiHow teaches you how to link a web page to your Instagram Story image or video on an Android device. You must have a verified account and/or 10,000 followers in order to add links to Story content.
Step
Step 1. Open Instagram on Android device
The Instagram icon looks like a white camera on a purple and orange background. You can find it in the application menu.
Step 2. Touch the little house icon
It's in the navigation bar in the lower-left corner of the screen. The feed page will be displayed.
Step 3. Touch the icon
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. The camera interface will be displayed.
Step 4. Take photos or videos as Story content
Touch the white circle button at the bottom of the screen to take a photo, or hold it down to record a video.
Alternatively, you can tap the gallery icon in the lower-right corner of the screen and select a photo or video from your device's gallery
Step 5. Touch the “Link” icon at the top of the screen
This button looks like two pieces of a chain tied together next to the “Sticker” icon, at the top of the screen. With this option, you can add a web link to a Story photo or video.
You must have a verified account and/or 10,000 followers in order to add links to Story content. Otherwise, the icon will not be displayed
Step 6. Enter the URL link into the Enter Link field
You can use the keyboard to type in the URL of the link, or paste it from the clipboard.
Step 7. Touch the blue tick icon
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. The URL link will be saved and attached to the photo or video.
Step 8. Touch the + Your Story button
It's in the lower-left corner of the photo or video. Content will be uploaded to daily Stories. Viewers can now swipe up on your Story content and visit the linked web page.
