Dragonvale is a dragon breeding game where your goal is to get new and unique monsters. There are a lot of dragons that need special combinations, and quite a lot of dragons that need a lot of luck to get. These dragons are referred to as rare dragons (Rare Dragons), and there are several types.

Part 1 of 5: Breeding Dragons
Step 1. Understand the breeding process
To be able to breed dragons, you must have unlocked a breeding island or a captive cave. This is where you send two dragons to breed and lay eggs. Eggs must be incubated for a certain period of time before hatching, depending on the type of egg.
Step 2. Select two dragons to breed
When you choose two dragons, the game will calculate what dragons will be produced based on the odds. In general, there are three types of results you get from a breed: Common, Rare, and Epic. What you get is pure luck, whereas Rare and Epic have very low percentages.
Step 3. Breed the dragons with lower odds to get the best dragons
The rarest dragons are generated from the previous lower dragon combinations. You have to go through several breeding processes before getting the right dragon to produce a very rare dragon.
Step 4. Wait for the eggs to hatch
The rarest dragons take a very long time to hatch, but if you look at that long incubation time, it's definitely a very good dragon.

These dragons can only be bred for a certain period of time, and some dragons may no longer be available. If a dragon can be bought, it means it can be raised. Sometimes dragons from past events are available during special events.
