This wikiHow teaches you how to create a photo or video slideshow to share on TikTok on your Android, iPhone, or iPad device.

Method 1 of 3: Creating Video Slides
Step 1. Open TikTok on your phone or tablet
The app is marked by a black icon with white, blue, and pink musical notes. Usually, you can find this icon on your device's home screen or page/app drawer, or by searching for it.
Step 2. Touch +
It's in the bottom center of the screen.
Step 3. Touch the Upload icon
It's a square icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 4. Touch Multiple
It's in the lower-left corner of the screen. Look for the icon of two overlapping squares.
Step 5. Select the video you want to add to the slide
Tap the empty circle in the top right corner of each video icon you want to add. Make sure you select the videos in the right order, in the order they were played on the slide.
Step 6. Touch Next
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 7. Trim the video clip (optional)
To adjust the length of the added video clip, touch Default, touch the video clip icon at the bottom of the screen, then drag the red bars on either side of the clip until you get to the length you want. You can repeat this process for each video clip that needs editing.
You can also trim video clips to the beat of the music by touching the Sound sync button
Step 8. Touch Next
It's a red button in the upper-right corner of the screen. The added clips will be combined into a single editable slideshow video.
Step 9. Add stickers and effects (optional), then touch Next
You can use TikTok's editing tools to add complements to your slides. When you're done editing, tap the red Next button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
- Touch the musical note icon to change the song.
- Touch the timer icon in the lower left corner of the screen to add a transition effect.
- Touch the “A” icon to add text.
- Touch the three colored circle icon to select a filter.
- Touch the smiley face icon with folded corners to add stickers and emojis.
Step 10. Select upload preferences and tap Post
At this stage, you can add a caption, set who can see the video, or enable/disable the comment field. Just tap the red Post button in the lower right corner of the screen to share the slide.
Method 2 of 3: Create Photo Slides from Templates
Step 1. Open TikTok on your phone or tablet

Step 2. Touch +
It's in the bottom center of the screen.
Step 3. Touch the " Photo Templates " or " M/V " tab
This tab is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Swipe through the various template options available
If you find a template you like, tap the "Select Photos" button.
Step 5. Select the photos you want to add to the slide
Tap the empty circle in the top right corner of each content icon you want to add. Make sure the content is selected in the order in which it appears on the slide.
You may need to select a certain number of photos before you can use the template, depending on the template selected
Step 6. Touch OK
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 7. Add stickers and effects (optional), then touch Next

Method 3 of 3: Create a Classic Photo Slider
Step 1. Open TikTok on your phone or tablet

Step 2. Touch +
It's in the bottom center of the screen.
Step 3. Touch the Upload icon
It's a square icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 4. Touch Photos
It's at the top of the screen. This menu is selected when you see the bar below it.
Step 5. Select the photos you want to add to the slide
Tap the empty circle in the top right corner of each content icon you want to add. Make sure the content is selected in the order in which it appears on the slide. You can add up to 12 photos.
Step 6. Touch Next
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 7. Add stickers and effects (optional), then touch Next
You can use TikTok's editing tools to add complements to your slides. When you're done editing, tap the red Next button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
- Touch the musical note icon to change the song.
- Touch the three colored circle icon to select a photo and exposure filter.
- Touch the “Horizontal/Vertical” button to change the slide direction.
Step 8. Specify upload preferences and tap Post
At this stage, you can add a caption, set who can see the video, or enable/disable the comment field. Just tap the red Post button in the lower right corner of the screen to share the slide.
