When you permanently delete your Twitter account, you will lose your display name, @username, and profile information. This wikiHow teaches you how to delete a Twitter account. To delete it, you need to submit an account deactivation request and after 30 days, the account will be deleted as long as you don't access it. Method 1 of 2: Via Twitter.com
Step 1. Visit https://www.twitter.com/ in a browser
The main Twitter page will be displayed if you are already logged in to your account.
If not, click the " Login ” in the upper right corner of the window, then enter your email address (or username/phone number) and account password in the appropriate fields. You may need to confirm the short message sent to your phone if prompted.
Step 2. Click More
This option is in the menu on the left side of the page. A drop-down menu will be displayed.
Step 3. Click Settings and privacy
This option is in the second choice section.
Step 4. Click Deactivate my account
This option is at the bottom of the page, under the " Data and permissions " section.

When prompted, type the password you use to log into your Twitter account in the "Password" field.

It's a dark pink button below the password input field. Once clicked, the account will be deactivated. However, you can log back into your account within 30 days to restore or reactivate your account.
Twitter will retain account information for 30 days after deactivation. After that, the account information will be deleted and cannot be recovered
Method 2 of 2: Via Twitter Mobile App
Step 1. Open Twitter
This app icon looks like a blue bird profile and you can find it on your device's home screen or app drawer, or by searching for it.
Sign in to your account first if prompted
