This wikiHow teaches you how to delete a TikTok account on an Android, iPhone, or iPad device. Once deleted, your account will remain in an “inactive” state for 30 days if you change your mind at any time. If you do not re-access your account within that period, all data and account content will be permanently deleted from TikTok's servers.

Step 1. Open TikTok on your phone or tablet
This application is marked by a black and white musical note icon which is usually displayed on the home screen (iPhone/iPad) or page/app drawer (Android).
- Account will be deactivated for 30 days before being deleted from TikTok servers. If you decide to reactivate your account within that time period, simply access the account using your login information.
- If you want to delete an account, you will lose access to all the contents of the account. If you have already purchased content from the app, you cannot get a refund.
Step 2. Touch the profile icon
This icon is indicated by a human-shaped outline in the lower-right corner of the screen.
You will be asked to log into your account at this stage if you haven't already
Step 3. Touch the three-dot menu icon •••
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 4. Touch Manage My Account
It's at the top of the menu.
Step 5. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
This option is at the bottom of the “Manage My Account” page. A confirmation page showing details of account deletion will be displayed.
If you created an account using a social media service such as Twitter or Facebook, you need to tap on the “ Verify and Continue ” to enter the service before the confirmation page is displayed.
Step 6. Touch the red Delete Account button
It's at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation window will be displayed.
You may be asked to verify your phone number and enter a confirmation code to continue the deletion process, depending on your account settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify if prompted
Step 7. Touch Delete to confirm selection
You will be logged out of your TikTok account immediately. Now the account has been deactivated and the uploaded videos cannot be seen by other users on the app.
