"Money rain" is when you hold a pile of banknotes in one hand and use the fingers of the other hand to quickly dispense the notes. You can also throw small bills at the leading valet parking services, doormen, dancers, and cheesesteak restaurants. Your money will float in the air, creating the effect that it's raining money. This rain of money is usually done with the one dollar bill in the US (you can use the IDR 10,000, 00 denomination in Indonesia). You can create a rain of money whether on Monday mornings, holidays, or whenever you want. Time to make this rain.
Step
Part 1 of 2: Doing it the Traditional Way
Step 1. Prepare some money
Fortunately, "money rain" doesn't mean you have to summon the rain god to bring down the shards of money from the clouds. You have to earn this money yourself. So find a job, help out your neighbors, and cash your paychecks. Visit the bank and ask for the IDR 10,000, 00 denomination. The more notes you have, the better. Of course you want a fairly heavy rain, not just a drizzle.
When you're at the bank, make sure the stacks of IDR 10,000 don't stick together. Sometimes, new bills, still smooth and freshly minted, will stick together. If this happens, ask the bank clerk for money that doesn't stick together. The bank cashier will not ask about your destination if they understand the job well
Step 2. Hold the money in one hand in a neatly arranged pile
Hold this money in your non-dominant hand and make it rain using the other hand. Make sure you hold the entire pile of money firmly so that no money falls.
Hold as much money as you can fit in the palm of your hand. If the pile of money is too high and past your fingertips, this trick could fall apart (or someone could snatch your money). Have the rest of the pile ready near you; just a little mistake in this rain, then the resulting effect will not be the same as you imagine
Step 3. Remove the bill in the same motion as when you would signal that you will "keep playing" in the game of blackjack
Do this by placing your four fingertips on the top of the note and pushing it out of the stack. This "keep playing" signal is similar to the "I stop" hand signal, but the movement is forward.
Try to do this movement as quickly as possible as long as you can maintain it evenly. Move your hand holding the pile left and right, so that it rains money around you. Drive around and leave a trail of rain wherever you go
Step 4. Maintain an arrogant and reckless attitude as you make money rain
When Kanye does this, no one will be surprised. However, if Honey Boo Boo tried to do it, people would definitely raise their eyebrows (okay, maybe we're exaggerating). In essence, the sentiment here remains the same: act as if it's your normal Tuesday, at noon, and the soil you're pouring with rain isn't worth enough for your footprints, let alone your social status.

Part 2 of 2: Get Creative
Step 1. Use a fan
What can blow money across a room and fly it more effectively than your hands? Yes, a big fan. Turn it on on a high setting with enough space left to place the pile of money in front of the fan. Turn it on in the on position when the fan is not connected to a power source. This way, when you plug in the cord, you can be in front of it while the fan is on, ready to be showered with money swirling in the air.
Step 2. Shower people with money
Of course, you can indeed shower yourself. You can run around your room, scatter money, shower your bed as part of your nighttime routine, then sleep comfortably on top of that pile of money. Or -- OR -- you can bring a pile of cash and liven up a party, coffee with a friend, or dinner with your parents. Think of the endless possibilities!
You may want to coordinate beforehand. Just throwing money at you can make other people rush into the money or think you are a materialistic person. After all, who knows? They may want to make money rain together with you -- create a flood of money
Step 3. Drop the money from the helicopter
Don't be half-hearted. If you're going to make money rain, it might be even better if you actually make it rain. If you don't have a helicopter at your disposal, find a high place to drop the money. Rooftops, Eiffel towers, mountains -- get ready, you'll be in the news!
Be aware, with this step, you will not be able to get your money back. The wind is cruel
Step 4. Think of this as a charity
Who says you have to make money rain only in your own home or in the great outdoors? Visit your local Starbucks outlet and get started! Or, forget about Starbucks (because everyone can buy drinks for $20 and up here) and make money rain on homeless shelters around your area. What better way to make sure you're active in your community?
Then, watch as people look at each other and wonder who will be the first to step up to raid your money. How long do you think it will take for that to happen? At first everyone will think your money is fake -- what happens when people first realize that you made real money rain?
Step 5.
.. Or, take the money back. Because, of course, who wants to spend tens of millions of rupiah on a foreigner? Just know that if you want to make money rain at the local Burger King outlets in your area, you'll be up against competition when it comes to getting your money back. First come, first serve. So, you might be able to keep making money raining just in your living room, bathtub, or, at worst, your backyard. How much risk are you willing to take?
If you want to be authentic, take your money back with as little attention as possible. And be careful! The tattered notes will not be stacked as neatly as before. When you take your money back, smooth it out so you can use it again at a later date
Tips
- After you make money rain, take the money when no one else is watching. Unlike the water cycle on our earth, the rain we create is limited.
- Get to know the profiles of people where you will make money rain! Some people may not like to see you flaunt your wealth.
