Your pencil case needs to be packed and organized properly so you can learn as well as you can in school. The right pencil case will make your stationery easier to pack. Part 1 of 2: Packing the Pencil Case
Step 1. Start with the essential equipment
Every year, students have to bring the same stationery to school every day. While some classes may require special stationery, you need to know the basic stationery to bring to school so that they can be arranged in pencil cases properly. Here are some essential stationery for school:
- Two pencils
- One red ink pen, one blue ink pen, and one black ink pen.

Step 2. Pack the stationery from the largest to the smallest

If you are using a pencil case that has a zipper, lay the box sideways so that the zippered side is facing the right or left. Your tools will be easier to pack and the space in the pencil case can be put to better use
Step 3. Insert and remove your equipment when needed
Since you've already started with the essential tools, adding other tools won't be too difficult. If you are adding soft utensils, put them in a container first before packing them in a pencil case.
- Elementary school equipment usually consists of colored pencils, crayons, and colored markers. To save space, choose the colors you use most often and tie them with rubber bands before putting them in the pencil case,.
- Middle and high school students need post-it notes when studying at school. Put your post-it notes in a small pocket with a ziploc. Make sure there is no torn or bent paper in the pencil case.
Step 4. Clean and repack your pencil case regularly

Step 1. Get a pencil case with a compartment
A pencil case that has several compartments of various sizes will help you pack school supplies effectively. Try to find one that has stacked layers so that the school supplies you need can fit in as much as possible.

Your pencil case will certainly get worn out because it continues to be brought to school every day. Choose a pencil case made of strong fabric so it doesn't tear and spill its contents onto the bag or the floor.
- Try to get a pencil case made of nylon fabric. Besides being easy to clean, this material is strong enough to hold as many stationery as possible.
- Hard plastic pencil cases are durable enough, but make sure you keep an eye on how much stationery is packed. If there are too many, chances are the pencil case won't close.
Step 3. Choose the right size
A medium-sized pencil case is usually the best choice. For classes that require large equipment, such as a ruler or notebook, choose a pencil case that is slightly larger.
- If after a few months it turns out that some stationery is almost never used, it's best to change to a smaller pencil case. Thus, the pencil case does not take up too much space in your bag and desk drawer.
