This wikiHow teaches you how to see who is connected to your Android hotspot. To see a list of connected devices, you can use the notification bar or the Settings app.

Method 1 of 2: Via Notification Bar
Step 1. Create a hotspot on your device
Step 2. Open the notification bar by swiping down from the top of the screen
Step 3. Tap on Tethering or Mobile HotSpot active
Step 4. Swipe the screen, and take a look at the list of connected devices
All connected devices, along with the MAC address of the device, will appear in the Connected Users section.
To block a device, tap BLOCK next to the device. Once blocked, the device cannot access the internet via your hotspot
Method 2 of 2: Via Settings
Step 1. Create a hotspot on your device
Step 2. Open the app
Settings on the device.
Step 3. Tap Wireless & networks
Step 4. Tap More
Step 5. Tap Mobile HotSpot and Tethering
Step 6. Tap Mobile HotSpot settings
Step 7. Take a look at the list of connected devices
All connected devices, along with the MAC address of the device, will appear in the Connected Users section.
