Whether you're posing in an art class or in front of a photographer, swimming naked, visiting a nudist beach, or just looking to be plain as you are to your loved one, you need to feel attractive when other people can see everything in your body. Here are some ways to feel more confident about your naked body.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Radiating Confidence
Step 1. Appreciate your beauty
A bad self-image usually comes from these three main sources: friends, parents, and beauty standards from the media. All of these sources are external. So, don't compare yourself to other people, as this can have a negative impact on your self-esteem. Instead of doing it, focus on your own definition of beauty, and the characteristics that make you beautiful.
Step 2. Practice so you get used to being naked
If no one else is around, develop your confidence by walking around the house naked. If there are other people in your house, leave your body naked for a while after bathing. If your partner is near you, ask him to accompany you naked. Over time, you will begin to appreciate your body naturally.
Step 3. Smile and make eye contact
Even when you're naked, most people will notice your face first. Facial expressions will determine the context of what they see, so smile widely and show your confidence. Engage good eye contact, and you will look great.
- To make sure you smile well and keep your breath fresh, brush and floss. Look for toothpaste that has received permission from BPOM/Indonesian Doctors Association. You can also rinse your mouth with mouthwash.
- Make sure your eyes look attractive. Do this by getting enough rest the night before. You can also consider using brightening eye drops, but make sure you consult an ophthalmologist first. Certain eye drops can block blood vessels.
Step 4. Don't worry too much about what other people think
Chances are, people who see you naked won't think you're guessing. Research has shown that men, like women, want to feel attractive in their most intimate moments.
- Pretend if necessary. No one will be 100% satisfied with their appearance. So, everyone who is confident when they appear naked is actually faking it, in a healthy way. Why don't you do it too?
- Don't apologize. Don't draw attention to what part of your body you think is bad-either verbally or mentally. Avoid as much as possible. Again, never apologize for your appearance!
Method 2 of 3: Look Attractive at the Right Time
Step 1. Keep your posture straight
Stand or sit with the correct posture to make you look taller, leaner, and more confident. Imagine a rope running through your body, from the base of your spine to the top of your head, and change your posture as if the rope was being pulled.
- Make sure your chin lifts away from your neck so it looks more elongated.
- Both shoulders should point down and behind the body.
- Your stomach should be pulled in and up (so it looks flat), and your back should curve naturally to accentuate your butt and chest.
Step 2. Lie on your side
When lying on a bed or sofa, lie on your side to display good body language. This posture will also make your waist appear smaller and accentuate your upper body (because the front arms are in front of your chest).
Step 3. Walk, stand, or sit at a diagonal angle
Try this age-old posing trick, which is meant to make people look better in two-dimensional positions. You should stand or sit at a diagonal angle, with your waist slightly turned without directly facing the other person. This will naturally contract your waist. Next, walk with one foot stepping directly in front of the other, pushing your hips forward and back swinging. Flowing movements like this will make you look slimmer overall.
Step 4. Highlight your best traits
Everyone has their favorite body part. How you position your body will determine the direction of focus of other people's attention on the parts of your body. Here are some things that are recommended:
- Place one hand on the hip. If you like your waist, direct the other person's gaze by placing one hand on your hip. Twist your body slightly to accentuate the slimness of your waist.
- Arch your back. Arching your back will lift your chest and buttocks and make them appear more prominent. Women can also raise their buttocks by wearing high-heeled shoes.
- Point your toes and slightly cross your legs. If you want other people to notice your legs, keep your toes elongated and pointed, with the legs slightly crossed until they overlap slightly. This will make it look more level and smooth.
- Push your chest forward. To make your chest look bigger, drop your shoulders and fold your arms around your waist, so that each hand is in the curve of your waist on the opposite side.
- Raise both arms above your head and bend slightly. Even less muscular men and women can appear a little fuller in the arms and shoulders, by raising their arms and slightly bending their biceps and triceps.
Step 5. Use body fragrance
Knowing that you smell good will make you radiate confidence. Wear deodorant, body spray, perfume, or cologne in moderation, only so that people very close to your body can smell it. If you have absolutely no time and are worried about your body odor, sprinkle some hand sanitizer or water on your armpits to get rid of the bad odor.
Step 6. Take advantage of lighting
Turn off the headlights that are too bright and choose a light that shines softer. Light a candle or a dim lamp. If the light is still too bright, cover it with a light cloth, or, if possible, direct the light at the wall, not directly into the room. Position your body so that the light is behind it to accentuate a confident silhouette (and not any flaws you're worried about your body).
Step 7. Take a shower
Make sure your body is completely clean before undressing. If you have enough time, take a shower and wash your hair so that your body and hair are washed clean and soft. You will look cool and feel refreshed and glowing afterwards! However, don't scrub too vigorously until your skin turns red (especially if there's not enough time to restore the color) and don't spend too long in the bath until the skin on your fingers shrivels up.
Step 8. Wear a simple hairstyle
Nudity usually comes with intimacy, or at least that's how it feels. Because of this, a relaxed yet confident hairstyle is usually a better choice than one that is too neat and over-styled with gel. The fewer pins and ties in your hair, the more natural it will look.
You can make your hair look as if you just woke up before you undress, by combing and ruffling your hair with your fingers. You can also use styling products to lift the roots of your hair away from your scalp, then blow dry them with a hairdryer. Alternatively, you can also dry your hair upside down by using a hairdryer set to a low temperature. If you're really in a hurry and don't have enough time, spray dry shampoo into your hair. Let it dry for a few minutes before you shuffle it by hand
Step 9. Make up your face a little
Wear full-face makeup if you like, or just leave it natural. Use a light pink or brown blush to give your cheeks a natural blush. Add lip color a shade darker than your natural lip color. At least, use lip balm to make your lips look softer.
- Don't use too much makeup. When you're naked, makeup colors that are too flashy will not look balanced because there are no other colors in the clothes. If you use too much makeup, you will stand out more naked. However, you can attract other people's attention to your face by applying a lip color that is attractive.
- Use a moisturizer. Lotion, body oil, or other moisturizer will prevent dry skin, make it look healthy and soft to the touch. Avoid products that contain parabens and other toxic ingredients.
Step 10. Put on the accessories
Accentuate your naked body with various objects or accessories. Necklaces, scarves, or fur shawls are great options for women, and men may be able to wear an army necklace with a metal dial, a nice watch, or even a tie. Don't be afraid to try the unusual. This will serve as a distraction if you feel nervous later, as well as to accentuate your naked body in a unique way.
Step 11. Set the right room temperature
Without clothes on, you'll need warmer temperatures to stay comfortable. While the cold will make a woman's nipples stiffen, men don't experience this kind of advantage, and shivering in the cold with shriveled shoulders is by no means a sexy appearance. Also don't set the temperature to be too hot. You can sweat a little until your body looks shiny, but don't sweat it.
Step 12. Avoid heavy foods that fatten the body
Before you plan on going naked, avoid foods that produce a lot of gas and bloat, such as nuts, fizzy drinks, dairy products, and foods that are high in fructose and refined sugars. If your stomach starts to swell, exercise or have a bowel movement-both of these methods will help shrink your belly.
In the long run, try to include healthy, lean foods in your diet, such as fresh produce and foods that contain omega 3 fatty acids
Method 3 of 3: Developing Your Appearance
Step 1. Exercise and eat a healthy diet
This may sound like over-the-top advice, but a healthy diet and exercise will improve the health of your skin and body in many ways, and make you feel more comfortable and confident in general. Here are some light and short things you can do.
- Do light stretching or weight training for 10-20 minutes every day, and try to walk if your situation allows. You will see the difference after a few weeks.
- Adjust your exercise plan with the targets you want to achieve. If you want to lose weight, limit your calorie intake and do cardio. If you want to increase muscle mass, do weight training progressively and consume adequate amounts of protein.
- Consider hiring a personal trainer. A personal trainer can help you set goals and lead you to achieve them, with the knowledge and experience of an expert. If you're not used to keeping in shape, a personal trainer is the best way to ensure success.
Step 2. Take care of your skin by exfoliating
When you are naked, glowing skin will be your best accessory. First of all, scrub your skin regularly to remove dead skin cells (especially in rough areas, like elbows and knees). A leather brush, exfoliating glove, or loofah can help. You can also use exfoliating products/ scrubs that contain body scrubs, salt, or other natural exfoliants.
Step 3. Give a touch of sunburned skin tone
If you want glowing skin, try applying a tinted moisturizer or special lotion to stimulate the tan from sun exposure. Scrub and remove dead skin cells first, and be careful that you do this long before you have to touch anything, as these types of products can stain if they are not completely dry.
Keep in mind that this burnt color should not be overused, because if you do, you will end up looking like a creature from outer space, instead of looking great
Step 4. Trim the hairs on your body
You'll feel and look better with well-groomed body hair. Many women choose to shave their armpits, legs, back and in the area around their genitals. Many men also trim or shave hair in the pubic area and pay attention to hair in other areas, or at least trim the hair that grows too long. Here are a few ways to do this, starting with the one that takes the least amount of time.
- Shave. Use a special razor to remove unwanted hair. Shaving is best done in the shower, as your skin is very damp, by applying shaving cream or hair softener to your skin first. Watch out for bumps in the shape of the razor, and hairs that grow inward on your skin, and make sure that you shave right before you go naked so the hairs don't look like they're starting to grow again.
- Waxing (removing hair with a special wax liquid). Waxing will remove unwanted hair for 4-6 weeks. However, the process is much more painful than shaving, and can be dangerous for people with sensitive skin. Make a reservation at the salon to consult and determine if waxing is the right way for you. Never wax yourself at home, unless you are an experienced expert in this area, or if you are assisted by someone else, as waxing can cause serious damage to your skin if something goes wrong.
- embroidery. Embroidery is a method similar to plucking hair, in that it pulls individual hair strands out of the skin by making small knots like embroidery. Make an appointment at the salon that provides this embroidery service to find out more. Embroidery is also useful for removing unwanted hair on the eyebrows.
- Electrolysis or hair removal with the help of laser light. The procedure is performed by licensed professionals over a fairly long period of time, and usually results in dramatically reduced hair growth rates.
- Remove unwanted hair. After using the method you have chosen (or if you prefer not to use either method at all), clean your shoulders, chest, stomach, legs and feet of unwanted hair by plucking them with tweezers.
Step 5. Make sure your hair looks great
Without clothes, hair becomes the only focus on your appearance. Try to keep your hair looking soft, healthy and making other people want to touch it. Also consider dyeing your hair a color that matches your skin tone.
- Use shades of color in your hair if needed. Touching the roots or coloring your hair (either on your own or with the help of a professional) can help reduce gray hair, especially if you want to look younger. You can also consider some highlights in some areas of your hair to attract attention.
- Choose a hairstyle that matches your face shape and proportions or body size. Finding the right hairdresser and visiting him regularly will keep your hair looking fresh and beautiful.
Step 6. Get rid of acne
Clear skin looks great, so make sure you get rid of the pimples, which are keeping you from looking your best. Fortunately, there are many simple ways to get rid of acne. Some types of acne may need to be examined by a dermatologist, but mild acne is easily treated with natural remedies.
- Use ice. Ice can help reduce swelling in the early days of acne. Apply ice wrapped in a cloth for a few minutes on the pimple area. Remove the ice, then repeat.
- The antibacterial and antifungal properties of eucalyptus oil can also help reduce acne breakouts. Apply eucalyptus oil on the infected area.
- Use toothpaste on pimples the night before you go to bed. Apply and wash off the rest in the morning when you wake up.
Step 7. Pay attention to your hands and feet
Broken nails, hard, white knuckles, and the smell of the onions you sliced while cooking, will kill your charms. Trim your nails to the right size, wash your hands and feet, then apply lotion if the skin in those areas is dry. Furthermore, you can also do hand and toe nail care, if you wish.
Whiten your teeth. This can help bring out a more charming smile. Consider using special toothpaste, dental floss, or other methods. Teeth can also be whitened or exposed to a whitening laser by a dentist
Tips
- Do not be shy. Confidence is the best tool to boost your naked appearance.
- Remember that physical features are not the only factor that makes you look good. Let your personality shine through your eyes, smile and words.
- Don't feel intimidated. If you're starting to think that other people are giving you negative reviews, imagine if they were in your shoes and might be nervous too.
- Wear loose-fitting clothing before posing naked (e.g. in a photo shoot). This will reduce the risk of skin marks appearing due to the pressure of the fabric, especially tight ones.
- When it's time for others to see your naked body, don't be shy. Continue whatever you are doing. You're still the same person and haven't changed.
