This wikiHow teaches you how to delete a Telegram account on an Android phone or tablet.

Step 1. Visit https://my.telegram.org/auth?to=deactivate via your device's web browser
Most Android devices come with Chrome (marked by the blue, red, yellow, and green circle icon that usually appears on the home screen). If Chrome isn't already available, open the app you normally use to browse the web.
You cannot delete an account via the Telegram app
Step 2. Type in the international phone number
You must enter the country code (eg +62 for Indonesia) before the phone number.
Step 3. Touch Next
Telegram will send a short message containing the authentication code.
Step 4. Type in the code obtained from the short message
Enter or paste the code in the field labeled “Confirmation code”.
Step 5. Touch Sign In
Step 6. Select Deactivate account
A confirmation page will be displayed.
Permanent deletion of an account will also delete messages and contacts on the account
Step 7. Touch Done
You can also enter the reason for deleting your account in the “Why are you leaving? if you want.
Step 8. Touch Yes, delete my account
Your Telegram account has now been successfully deleted.
