This wikiHow teaches you how to switch your Discord account to a disabled state if you're no longer using it on your Android device. Discord doesn't allow you to remove your account from the app, but you can email the support team requesting full account deletion.
Step
Step 1. Open the Discord app on the Android device
The Discord icon looks like a white game controller inside a blue circle which is usually shown in the application list/page.
Step 2. Touch the three horizontal lines icon
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. This button will display a navigation bar with a list of servers and channels.
Step 3. Touch the icon
It's in the lower-right corner of the navigation pane. The user settings page (“User Settings”) will open after that.
Step 4. Touch My Account
This option is displayed next to the head figure icon under the “USER SETTINGS” heading/segment.
Step 5. Touch the “Logout” icon
The arrow icon inside this square appears in the upper-right corner of the screen. After that, you will be logged out of your account.
Step 6. Don't log in to the account for a while
The account will automatically be deactivated. You will no longer receive emails or notifications about your account.
- Discord does not specify the length of time it takes for the account to be deactivated. This process may take about a week or so.
- If you want to reactivate your account, you can log in immediately using your email address and password at any time.
Step 7. Email the Discord support team to fully delete the account
If you wish to delete the entire contents of your account, you will need to email [email protected] and request deletion of your account.
