This wikiHow teaches you how to insert the Euro symbol (€) into a document, note, message, or text field on your computer, phone, or tablet. This symbol is available in the special character group on all desktop and mobile keyboards worldwide. You can use keyboard key combinations on your computer or change your mobile keyboard to a special character layout to add symbols.

Method 1 of 3: On Windows Computer

Step 1. Open the text field where you want to add the Euro symbol (€)

You can insert this symbol in a text-editing program, document, message, note, or other text field.

Step 2. Press and hold Ctrl. key and Alt simultaneously.

You can type special characters on the keyboard with any of these combinations, including the Euro symbol.

Step 3. Press the E key on the keyboard

Step 1. Open the text field where you want to insert the symbol

Step 5. Find and press the € key on the keyboard

You can find and touch the Euro symbol (€) key on the secondary special character keyboard. The symbol will be immediately added to the selected text field.
