This wikiHow teaches you how to add a Google account to your iPhone or iPad. By adding a Google account, you can sync your email, contacts, notes, and calendar entries to your device.

Method 1 of 2: Adding a Google Account
Step 1. Open the settings menu or “Settings”
This menu icon is usually displayed on the home screen.
Step 2. Touch Accounts & Passwords
A list of all the accounts stored on the iPhone or iPad will load.
Step 3. Touch Add Account
This option is at the bottom of the menu.
Step 4. Touch Google
The Google login page will load.
Step 5. Enter the Google account email address and touch NEXT
If you want to create a new Gmail address, touch “ Create account ”, then follow the instructions from Google that appear on the screen.
Step 6. Enter the password and touch NEXT
Step 7. Select the content that needs to be synced
You can sync your emails, contacts, calendar entries, and notes to your iPhone or iPad.

To sync content, slide the appropriate switch to the on or “On” position

Step 8. Touch Save
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. Google Account is now successfully added to iPhone or iPad.
Method 2 of 2: Adding Another Gmail Account to the Gmail App
Step 1. Open the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad
This application is marked by a red and white envelope icon and is usually displayed on the home screen.
Step 2. Touch
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. The menu will open after that.
Step 3. Touch the down arrow next to your name
The list of options will be expanded afterwards.
Step 4. Touch Manage accounts
Your Gmail accounts will be displayed.
Step 5. Touch Add account
It's below the list of available Gmail accounts.
Step 6. Touch Google
This option is at the top of the list. A confirmation message will be displayed after that.
Step 7. Touch Continue
Step 8. Enter the Gmail address and touch NEXT
Use the Gmail address you want to add to the app, not the one already saved or active in the app.
If you want to create a new Gmail address, touch “ Create account ”, then follow the instructions from Google that appear on the screen.
Step 9. Enter the password and touch NEXT
You will be taken back to the list of Gmail accounts. Now, the list contains the new account you added.
