Step 21. Load in John GBA

Here the Auto Load State step will be very useful. If you leave it on, when you load your version of Pokémon, the program will load the last saved state on John GBA, and not the game ROM saved on MyBoy. You simply reload the game and the Pokémon will already be bartered.

Tips

  • You can't trade FireRed/LeafGreen for Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire before getting the National Dex in FireRed/LeafGreen. For Ruby/Emeral/Sapphire games, PokeDex will become National Dex after you trade with FireRed/LeafGreen.
  • Certain Pokémon evolve only when bartered.
  • Pokémon that have been traded from other games gain 1.5 times more experience (experience) than regular Pokémon. When this Pokémon is traded back to its original owner, the experience gained is back to normal. Pokémon traded in different game languages gain 1.7 times more experience).

Warning

  • You can't trade on the same game because you only have one save file per game. For example, you can't trade between Pokémon Ruby and Ruby (on your own phone) but you can trade between Ruby and Sapphire or any other Pokémon game on the GBA.
  • Some Pokémon won't obey you until they earn a certain number of badges (badges).
