Legendary cards are warrior and magic cards that shine and sparkle. This card is the rarest card in Clash Royale. Do you want a Princess who can shoot from half the map, or a Bandit who has the invincibility of running? These soldiers are hard to get without spending money in the game, although it's still possible.

Method 1 of 2: Spending Money
Step 1. Buy a legendary king chest in the shop
Buy some gems and use them to buy legendary king chests. This chest is only open in area 7 and has a 100% chance of getting a legendary card along with several other cards.
- Choose a legendary card like a draft chest. There is one chest on the right and another on the left. You can choose the chest you want.
- You can't buy super magical chests in the shop since the December 2017 update.
Step 2. Buy other chests like Fortune, King, and Lightning
Lightning Chests let you attack cards and replace them with something else. Common (common) cards are exchanged for common cards, rare (rare) cards are exchanged for rare cards, and so on. You get 5 attacks and a chance to get a legendary card if it emerges from a chest. Fortune Chests ensure that you get at least one of the several decks of cards shown before you buy. All of these chests allow you to acquire legendary cards.

Step 3. Wait for the legendary chest to appear in the shop
This chest has a price of 500 gems must contain a legendary card. This is one of the risk-free ways because you are guaranteed to get a legendary card. If you save enough gems, you can also buy them without spending any money.
- Legendary chests are most effective if you still have few or no legendary cards because the chances of getting a legendary card that you already have are quite small. However, players with higher levels and skills tend to prefer spending gems on challenges. This method is better if you can win consistently.
- This chest appears at least once a month.
Method 2 of 2: Get Legendary Cards For Free
Step 1. Go to arena 10, Hog Mountain
This arena is at 3,000 trophies. Here, the occasional legendary card can be purchased for 40,000 gold / gold. It's worth it and if you save enough gold, 40,000 isn't that hard to get to.
If you're skilled enough, try Grand Challenges. If you can win 12 times without losing 3 times, you will be given a chest containing 22,000 gold. This number is quite a lot but the Grand Challenges are very hard to beat
Step 2. Join an active clan
The leader and vice-chairman can start clan wars and all players with level above 8 can join. On Collection Day, you can fight 3 times with your own cards to get a Clan Card that is used when building a War Deck for War Day. On War Day, you get one fight. The clan (out of 5 clans competing together) that gains the most victories on War Day wins the war. The 1st and 2nd place winners will get the clan trophy so they can continue the clan league. At the end of the War Season, you will receive a War Chest based on your Clan League results and the highest war rank earned.
- You must have 10 participants to be able to start a war.
- If you reach the Legendary 1st league, you are guaranteed to get a legendary card from the War Chest!
Step 3. Keep fighting
Each chest obtained is in a chest cycle and there are 240 chests in one cycle. Legendary chests will spawn once every two cycles. Assuming you never lose, a legendary card can be obtained every 480 battles.
You can also play 2v2 (two versus two) matches to earn chests without worrying about losing trophies. However, don't click Quick Match, instead play with your friends. Many of the 2v2 players competing in Quick Match are unskilled or intrusive; this player will leave the game in the middle of the match so you are forced to fight alone
Step 4. Complete the Grand Challenges when you reach level 8
If you are able to compete with other players and get 12 wins, the chances of getting a legendary card and 22,000 gold are quite large. However, be aware that you will be matched with other expert players, who are top players with more than 6,000 trophies. These players are hard to beat.
- You must pay 100 gems to enter Grand Challenges, and 10 gems for Classic Challenges.
- The chests won also contain a lot of gold.
Step 5. Complete the quests
It is located on the blade next to the crown chest (crown). Each quest gives you a certain amount of points and when there are enough you can use them to open chests. Quests are various tasks in the game, such as opening 10 chests, playing cards that cost 2 elixir or less, and donating 4 rare cards. You can cast a quest every 24 hours.
- Super magical chests and legendary kings have a price of 500 points.
- Legendary chests require 400 points to open.
- Epic chests cost 350 points.
- Giant and magical chests cost 300 points.
- Lightning chests cost 250 points.
- The golden chest costs 50 points.
- These chests have no open time. The extra points earned will be carried over to the next check.
Step 6. Try your luck with the other chests
Silver (silver), crown, gold, giant (giant), magic (magic), and clan chests can still give legendary cards, but the chances are very small. However, don't give up hope and maybe one day you will get a legendary card.
Step 7. Find a replacement for the legendary card
It could be, you are also not lucky to use the methods above. If so, you need to find a replacement card that can do the job just as well or even better.
- The symbol (*) means it will change the deck significantly.
- Replace Princess and Ice Wizard with Archer, Musketeer, Tornado, Ice Spirit, or Arrow.
- Replace the Lava Hound with a Golem *or Baby Dragon*.
- Replace the Graveyard with a Skeleton Army *or Goblin Barrel*.
- Replace Electro wizard with Musketeer or Archer.
- Replace Log with Zap, Arrow, or Tornado.
- Sparky can be exchanged for Balloon, Bowler, or Executioner.
- Add Baby Dragon* or Minion Horde for Inferno Dragon.
- Replace Night Witch with Witch or Mini P. E. K. K. A.
- Enter the mini P. E. K. K. A. or Rage * for Lumberjack.
- Swap Bandits for Dark Princes or Knights.
- Replace Miner with Knight or Goblin Barrel *.
- Replace Royal Ghost with Dark Prince, Bandit, or Flying Machine.
- Replace Mega Knight for P. E. K. K. A, Dark Prince, or Knight.
- Use instead Magic Archer, Dart Goblin or Princess.
Tips
- Be patient. Legendary cards are extremely rare; this is why the card is named 'legendary'
- You can only get legendary cards if you are in arena 4 (P. E. K. K. A.'s Playhouse) and above.
- Legendary chests will grant legendary cards from any arena, but other chests only grant legendary cards from your area or below.
- You can't get legendary cards from epic chests, but from other chests.
