Step
Step 1. Get a game of Tetris to play
The game is available for almost all electronic media. You can play it on your computer, GBA, or even Nintendo DS.
Step 2. Start the game from the lowest level
As the game progresses, the level will increase, but you will need to start at a low level to make it easier to practice.
Step 3. Move the block or terromino left and right using the arrow keys
Try to move or shift the blocks so that they fall closer to the other blocks.
Step 4. Understand the different types of tetromino available
In the classic Tetris game, you can find seven types of tetrominos:
- Block “I useful for winning "Tetris" by clearing four rows at once.
- Block "O" (a square formed of four squares) is useful for filling large gaps.
- Beam "L" useful for filling medium sized gaps.
- Block "J" similar to an “L” block, but facing the opposite direction.
- Block "S" used to fill small gaps.
-
Block "Z" facing the opposite direction of the “S” block.
- Beam "T" It is also used to fill small gaps.
Step 5. Use the action buttons to rotate the tetromino to fit the gap
The keys that function as action keys are quite diverse, from the “A”, “X”, spacebar, “Enter” keys to other keys, depending on the game you are trying.
Step 6. Fill and clear rows to earn points and level up
The more rows you clear at once, the more points you get. Clearing (maximum) four rows at a time is known as “Tetris” and can be done by inserting a straight and long tetromino (beam “I”) into the gap.
Step 7. Check the blocks that will appear and plan their placement
The more often you play, the easier the planning will be. Therefore, do not rush.
