This wikiHow teaches you how to evolve Eevee into one of its forms or transformations in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.
Step
Method 1 of 4: Evolving Eevee Into Flareon, Vaporeon, or Jolteon
Step 1. Make sure you have Eevee
The easiest way to get an Eevee if you don't have one is to go to Paniola Nursery (located on Akala Island), talk to the woman at the cashier, and select “ Yes ” when he asks if you want Pokémon eggs.
- The eggs will hatch and produce an Eevee after a few minutes.
- You can also catch an Eevee in the wild by visiting Route 4 or Route 6 and wandering through the grass.
Step 2. Understand how this method works
Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon evolve from Eevee in the same way: using special elemental “stones”. These stones can be found in the Pokémon world.
Apart from being able to find or buy different stones, each stone can also be excavated using a Pokémon that can dig on Aphun Island
Step 3. Use the Fire Stone on the Eevee to evolve it into a Flareon
You can find the Fire Stone at the far left of Diglett's Tunnel on Akala Island. However, you need Tauros to find the stone. After you pick up a stone, you can select it from your bag or inventory and use it on Eevee.
You can also buy Fire Stones from Konikoni Town for 3,000
Step 4. Use the Water Stone on the Eevee to turn it into a Vaporeon
Water Stone can be found in the coastal area of Akala Island. After finding the stone, open the bag or inventory list, select the stone, and use it on Eevee.
Like Fire Stones, Water Stones can be purchased for 3,000 from the shop in Konikoni Town
Step 5. Use the Thunder Stone on Eevee to evolve it into Jolteon
You can find the Thunder Stone by going to Route 9 on Akala Island and talking to an old man. After that, you can pick a stone from the bag and use it on the Eevee.
Thunder Stones can also be purchased from the shop in Konikoni Town for 3,000
Method 2 of 4: Evolving Eevee Into Espeon and Umbreon
Step 1. Understand how this method works
In order for Eevee to evolve into Espeon or Umbreon, you must raise its friendship level as high as possible. The training process that needs to be provided will be different, depending on the evolution you want:
- Espeon – You must use the Eevee during the day only.
- Umbreon – You should only use Eevee at night.
Step 2. Maximize Eevee's friendship level
You can increase Eevee's friendship level with these steps:
- Catch Eevee using the Friend Ball.
- Give Eevee a Lomi Lomi massage, once a day in Konikoni Town.
Step 3. Make sure Eevee's friendship level is high enough
You can confirm this by taking Eevee to Konikoni Town and talking to a woman near the shop that sells TM. If he says, "My! It feels incredibly close to you! Nothing makes it happier than being with you!" about Eevee, you're ready to move on to the next step.
If he says something different, you should again raise Eevee's happiness level
Step 4. Don't let Eevee get hit or hit
A punch or attack can lower Eevee's overall friendship level.
Step 5. Practice Eevee at the right time
You only need to battle Eevee during the day if you want to evolve it into an Espeon. Meanwhile, fighting at night allows Eevee to evolve into Umbreon.
Step 6. Level up Eevee during the day or night
Again, this process will depend on your desired evolutionary outcome (eg Espeon or Umbreon). After meeting the basic requirements, level up Eevee to turn it into the desired evolutionary Pokémon.
Method 3 of 4: Evolving Eevee Into Leafeon and Glaceon
Step 1. Understand the evolution process of Leafeon and Glaceon
Eevee can evolve into either Leafeon or Glaceon once you get that Pokémon. This is because you only need to stand next to a certain rock to level it up.
Step 2. Make sure Eevee is ready to level up
You may need to battle him before he has enough XP to advance to the next level.
Step 3. Find the right stone
Leafeon needs Mossy Rock to evolve, while Glaceon needs Icy Rock. Both types of stone can be found in the following places:
- Mossy Rock – Can be found in the northern part of the Lush Jungle, on Akala Island.
- Icy Rock – Found in the cave of Mount Lanakila, on Ula'ula Island.
Step 4. Stand near the rock
You have to stand in front of a rock for Eevee to evolve properly.
Step 5. Level up Eevee
After the leveling process is complete, you will have Leafeon or Glaceon.
Method 4 of 4: Evolving Eevee Into Sylveon
Step 1. Make sure Eevee has fairy type moves
Eevee will naturally evolve into Sylveon if some important conditions are met. One of those requirements is that Eevee must know at least one fairy type move. You can catch a wild Eevee with Baby-Doll Eyes (level 19), or use a movement tutor to have Eevee relearn the move.
Step 2. Win two Pokémon Refresh Affection Hearts for Eevee
Use the grooming kit in the game to feed Eevee and play with her until she gets two hearts (love) symbols above her head.
- The number of hearts Eevee currently has can be seen when you select another Pokémon to play with.
- Use a Rainbow Poke Bean to guarantee Eevee's friendliness level increases by two or even three points (marked by the heart symbol).
Step 3. Level up Eevee
After confirming that Eevee is friendly or affectionate enough, and has fairy-type moves, level up so that Eevee can evolve into Sylveon.
