Gallade is a rare Psychic/Fighting type Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation IV Pokémon. Gallade is a powerful fighting Pokémon as well as a skilled swordsman. Gallade's Psychic-type attacks make him quite versatile. Gallades can be hard to get, especially on certain versions of the Pokémon game. Start at Step 1 to start earning Gallades!
Step
Step 1. Get the male Ralts
Gallade is Kirlia's change, which is a change from Ralts. Only male Kirlia can transform into Gallade. Since getting Kirlia isn't easy, it will be easier if you try to get Ralts. Note: if you got a male Kirlia through an exchange or from the wild, you can go straight to Step 3.
- Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald – Ralts can be caught on Route 102 which connects Oldale Town and Petalburg City. Ralts are rare Pokémon, so you may have to spend a while to find them.
- Pokémon Diamond and Pearl – Ralts can be caught on Routes 203 and 204. You must use the Poké Radar to encounter them. There's also a very low chance of finding Kirlia, so you can save time if you find her.
- Pokémon Platinum – Ralts can be found on Route 208, 209, and 212. Kirlia can also be found on Route 212 and Route 209 with Poké Radar.
- Pokémon Black and White – Ralts can be found in the White Forest in Pokémon White, but not in Pokémon Black. Pokémon Black players must earn Ralts in exchange from other versions of Pokémon players.
- Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 – Ralts can only be obtained in-game by exchanging them from Curtis or Yancy in Nimbasa City. Ralts will be the third Pokémon you get, but it can be male or female.
- Pokémon X and Y – Ralts can be found on Route 4 in yellow and red flowers. Ralts is a rare Pokémon, so it might take a bit of time.
Step 2. Make the male Ralts evolve into Kirlia
Ralts must reach level 20 to evolve into Kirlia. You can take them in battles to gain experience or use Rare Candy to level them up.
An item called "Exp. Share" will help Ralts evolve faster
Step 3. Turn Kirlia into Gallade with the Dawn Stone
Dawn Stones can be found in several places for each version of the game, including Dust Clouds in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2, and Secret Super Training in X and Y.
