In the game of Pokémon, HM02 Fly is a very useful skill. This skill allows you to quickly move to previously visited cities or locations. This skill can save you a lot of time when you need to get back into town on an adventure or visit an old place. The Fly skill in Pokémon Fire Red is hidden, and you need the Cut skill to get it.
Step
Step 1. Reach Celadon City
Celadon City is one of the largest cities in the game, and you can visit it after defeating the Vermillion City Gym leader. To get to Celadon City, you'll need to go underground on Route 8 to get past Saffron City, which is still temporarily closed.
Step 2. Exit west of Celadon City to reach Route 16
This path is usually blocked by Snorlax until you have a Poke Flute.
Step 3. Use the "Cut" skill to cut the tree above you
When you enter Route 16, you will see a tree before you meet Snorlax.
If you don't have the Cut skill, you can get it from the captain of the ship S. S. Anne who was anchored in Vermillion City. You need a ticket to board the ship, and you can get it by helping Bill. Cut is required for you to reach the Vermillion City Gym
Step 4. Keep walking west, then past the security post
Enter the small house on the west side of the security post.
Step 5. Talk to the woman in the house
It will give you HM02 "Fly".
Step 6. Open your bag, then go to the Key Items section
Select "TM Case", then select "FLY" from the list of objects in it. Select "Use" from the menu that appears.
Step 7. Teach one of your Pokémon the "Fly" skill
Choose a Pokémon in the team that Fly can teach. The Pokémon being taught must be of type Flying, and the words "ABLE!" it should be next to a Pokémon that can learn the skill. You can only teach Fly to Pokémon on your team.
- Fly will use up one Pokémon's skill space, so make sure you choose a Pokémon that has a skill you no longer need.
- To use Fly, you need to bring a Pokémon that has that skill. Try teaching the Fly skill to a Pokémon that you'll often carry around with you.
Step 8. Use Fly to quickly move from city to city
The Fly skill allows you to move from one city to another that you've visited before. A map is displayed when you use Fly, and you can choose a city or location that you have visited before.
