Noni fruit has been used for thousands of years in the Pacific region to treat disease. This juice is said to be able to overcome various problems, from lethargy to cancer. Noni juice can be made simply by blending the fruit and straining the seeds. You can also buy juice or extract of this fruit in stores. Because the benefits of noni fruit for the health of the body are still not proven, consult a doctor before drinking this juice. Stop consuming this juice if you have health problems.
Step
Part 1 of 2: Blending Noni Fruit
Step 1. Squeeze the unripe fruit for a few days
Unripe noni fruit feels hard to the touch. Keep the unripe noni fruit on the table. After a few days, the skin of the noni fruit will be brighter. When it feels soft, it means the fruit is ready to be juiced.
Noni fruit is also sold in bottles, in the form of dried fruit, powder, or capsules. Everything can be consumed immediately and you don't have to worry about the smell and taste of the noni fruit
Step 2. Put the fruit and water in a blender
Rinse the fruit thoroughly and put it in a blender. You may need to add water to make the blender work. If so, add half a cup (120 ml) of cold water or more if needed. Blend the noni fruit until the texture is thick like apple juice.
If the fruit doesn't fit in the blender, you can cut it into small pieces. You can also crush the fruit by hand because the ripe noni fruit is very soft
Step 3. Strain the juice to remove the seeds
Take a sieve or sieve, and hold it over an empty bowl or funnel placed on a glass. Pour the juice into a sieve and use a spatula to stir the juices to make a smooth pouring. Take the remaining juice in the blender with a spatula. The filter will hold the noni seeds so they don't enter the glass.
Step 4. Mix noni juice with water
The texture of the blended noni juice is still too thick. Add a little water to make your juice runny and easy to drink. Please mix water as needed into a glass or bowl.
You only need cup (60 ml) of noni juice daily. One fruit is enough to make two glasses of juice. So, feel free to dilute your juices
Step 5. Add flavor to the noni juice
Noni juice has a strong and unpleasant taste. So, you can turn noni juice into a smoothie. For example, try mixing 140 grams of carrots, a peeled orange, two tablespoons of coconut milk, a cup (240 ml) of coconut water, 110 grams of pineapple, two tablespoons of grated coconut, a cup of ice, and a teaspoon of filtered noni juice.
You can also put a little juice or honey into a glass of noni juice. The taste of noni juice will not go away, but over time you will get used to it
Part 2 of 2: Consuming Noni Juice Safely
Step 1. Consult a doctor before drinking noni juice
Noni juice is not an herbal supplement. You should check its safety first with your doctor so that it is safe for consumption. Noni juice is said to have many health benefits, but none of them have been proven and may even have side effects. Continue to check with your doctor if you experience a negative reaction to noni juice.
Step 2. Start with small portions of juice
Start with a serving of 1/10 cup (30 ml). You only need one sip of juice per serving. If you are used to it, you can add a portion or drink a second portion at a later time. Do not drink more than three cups (750 ml) per day.
For noni extract in capsule form, limit consumption to 500 mg per day. Read the label on the package to find out how much extract per pill
Step 3. Stay away from noni juice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
In the past, noni juice was used for abortion. Although concrete evidence regarding the relationship of noni juice with the fetus is still not available, you should be careful. Eliminate noni juice from your diet menu for a while.
Step 4. Do not consume noni fruit if you suffer from liver or kidney disorders
Patients with liver or kidney disease should stay away from noni. Potassium and other components in noni juice will make your condition worse. Consult a doctor to find other alternatives.
Symptoms of this disease include weight loss, fatigue, and nausea. Maybe your skin looks yellow when you have liver disease. Kidney pain also causes swelling of the face, hands, and feet
Step 5. Stay away from noni juice if you have high potassium levels
This fruit provides a lot of potassium into the body. Hyperkalemia, or high potassium levels, will affect your heart rate and muscle work. If your potassium levels change or you start having problems, stop consuming noni juice immediately.
