This tutorial will teach you how to draw realistic eyes and Anime eyes.

Method 1 of 2: Realistic Eyes
Step 1. Draw a thin horizontal guide line
Draw an almond shape with one corner tapering downwards.
Step 2. Draw another almond shape of the same size
The distance between these two eye shapes is equivalent to the length of the shape of one almond.
Step 3. Erase the guide lines and draw a circle inside each eye shape
The diameter of the circle is equivalent to the height of the almond shape. Leave some distance between the bottom of the circle and the bottom edge of the eye shape.
Step 4. Draw an arch for each eye to create the tear glands
Step 5. Draw the tear line
This image of the base of the tear gland passes between the iris and the lower eyelid, up to the upper lash line.
Step 6. Draw a circle for the pupil
Don't forget to draw an arch for the upper petal.
Step 7. Darken the pupil and erase the part of the iris that crosses the upper eyelid
Step 8. Lightly erase the guide lines and start shading using your pencil
Darken the lash line, the crease of the upper lid and the pupil. The eyeball should be colored very lightly.
Step 9. Draw lines around the iris
These lines should look like light radiating out of the pupil. Darken (rub effect) the tops of the irises of both eyes.
Step 10. To add glow, use a thread or rubber eraser
The eraser is sleekly shaped to easily erase fine lines above the lash line, lower eyelid, above the water line, outside the tear glands, inside the lower pupil and inside the eyeball.
Step 11. Draw the feathers
Draw the eyelashes from the roots (eyelids). Start by pressing your pencil firmly and then slowly release the pressure as you curl towards the tip. The lower lashes should be thinner and shorter than the upper lashes. To create a sparkle in the eyes, use correction fluid or white paint to create dots.
Method 2 of 2: Anime Eyes
Step 1. Draw two slightly flattened ovals
Step 2. Instead of drawing lashes per hair, anime lashes can be drawn with one very thick curved line
Follow the guide lines to create a thinner upper lash line and lower lash line.
Step 3. Erase the guide lines and draw an oval for the iris
They can be unequally shaped.
Step 4. Draw a smaller oval inside the iris to create the pupil
Leave some space between the bottom of the pupil and the bottom edge of the iris but make the top edges touch.
Step 5. Draw an oval to create a sparkle for your anime spy
Step 6. Darken the outline of the iris
Again, this doesn't necessarily have to be perfect. Darken the inside of the pupil. Don't color the glitter.
Step 7. Fill the bottom of the iris with the color of your choice
Create additional sparkle by drawing a U inside the colored spot. The U should be lighter than the first color you used.
Step 8. Make a shadow under the upper lashes
Tips
