Google Chrome is a lightweight web browser that is free to download on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Android. Follow this guide to download and install it on your system of choice.

Method 1 of 2: Downloading Chrome for PC/Mac/Linux
Step 1. Go to the Google Chrome page
You can use any web browser to download Google Chrome. If you don't have any browsers installed, you can use your operating system's default browsers (Internet Explorer for Windows and Safari for Mac OS X).
Step 2. Click "Download Chrome"
This will open the Terms of Service window.
Step 3. Decide if you want to use Chrome as your default browser
If you set it as the default browser, Chrome will open whenever a web link is clicked in any program, such as email.

You can choose to send your usage data to Google by checking the “Help make Google Chrome better…” box. It will send you crash reports, settings, and clicks, and does not send personal information or track websites.
Step 4. Click “Accept and Install” after reading the terms of service
The installation program will start and Google Chrome will be installed once it's done. Depending on your browser settings, you may need to allow the program to run.
Step 5. Sign in to Chrome

Step 6. Download an offline installation program (optional)
This step is intended to install Chrome on a computer that does not have an Internet connection. If you want to download an offline installation program for use on a computer without an Internet connection, search for "chrome offline installer" in your favorite search engine and follow the first link to the Chrome support site. You can download the installation program on this page.
- Installation programs are available for single users and for all users on the computer. Make sure you download the right version.
- Once the program is downloaded, move it to the computer you want to install Chrome on and run the program to install Chrome like you would any other program.
Method 2 of 2: Downloading Chrome on Mobile
Step 1. Open the app store on your device
On Android devices, open the Play Store, and on iOS devices, open the App Store. Chrome is available for Android 4.0 and iOS 5.0 and above.
Step 2. Look for Chrome
The application must be published by Google, Inc.
Step 3. Install Chrome
Click the Install button to start downloading and installing the app. You may need to accept a permission request to start installing.
Step 4. Open the app
When you first open Chrome, you will be asked to sign in with your Google account. This will sync all bookmarks, settings, and browsing history stored in your account with the other version of Chrome you are using.
Tips
- Chrome requires 350MB of storage space and 512MB of RAM for optimal performance. Make sure your computer has these resources before installing Chrome.
