If you've ever tried to attach a file larger than 25 MB to a Yahoo!Mail email message, then you know that's impossible because there is a size limit to the files that can be attached. Luckily Yahoo!Mail is integrated with Dropbox (a web-based file storage service) and now you can attach large files. You can also save email message attachments directly to Dropbox. Make sure your Yahoo!Mail account is linked to your Dropbox account to make the integration process easier and simpler. Scroll to Step 1 to get started.

Method 1 of 2: Attaching Files from Dropbox
Step 1. Upload files to Dropbox
You can upload files directly to your Dropbox account online or save files in your local Dropbox folder to sync online.
Step 2. Sign in to your Yahoo!Mail account
Step 3. Compose a new email message
You are free to write how long the message is or to whom you will send it. If you want to try attaching a file, just send a message at your own email address.
Step 4. Attach a file from Dropbox
In the window for composing an email message, click the paperclip icon to select an attachment. Select Share from Dropbox. A dialog window containing your Dropbox folder will appear. Browse your folders and find the file you want to attach.
- You can attach multiple files at once by selecting them. The files will be highlighted or marked once selected.
- You can also attach files with different formats at once. Songs, PDFs, movies and so on.
Step 5. Click Choose
Step 6. Complete your email message
The file you select will be shared via a Dropbox link pasted in the email message. The files don't have to be physically attached, but they can be accessed directly via the link provided.
Step 7. Send your message
You can send a copy to your own email address to view the message and try out the link.
Method 2 of 2: Saving File Attachments to Dropbox
Step 1. Sign in to your Yahoo!Mail account
Step 2. Open an electronic message that has an attachment
Any file size (which makes sense) doesn't matter.
Step 3. Locate the attachment
Attachments are usually located at the bottom of the email message. You can see a paperclip symbol next to the name of the sender of the email message.
Step 4. Download attachments
Click the Download link next to the attached file. Select Save to Dropbox. A dialog window will appear and you can select the location of the Dropbox folder to save the attached file. Select a location and click Save.
Step 5. View attachments from Dropbox
You can download files from your Dropbox account online or view them in your local Dropbox folder once they're synced.
