Scissors are used to shear sheep, harvest crops, collect cobwebs and destroy wool blocks in Minecraft. Scissors are very easy to make.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Finding Ingredients
Step 1. Mine iron
You need two iron ores.
Step 2. Melt the iron ore
The trick is to put the two ores into the fireplace. Place the iron in the top slit, the fuel (coal) in the bottom slit.
Step 3. Take the two iron rods that you have melted
Method 2 of 3: Making Scissors
Step 1. Place the two iron bars into your crafting table
Step 2. Arrange it like this:
- Place an iron rod in the center of the left column
- Place another iron rod in the middle of the top row.
Step 3. Shift click or drag the scissors to your inventory.
Method 3 of 3: Using Scissors
Scissors can be used to shear sheep, crush wool faster or cut tall grass, leaves, dead bushes, vines and ferns.
Step 1. Shear a sheep
With scissors in hand, stand next to a sheep and right-click. The fleece will be sheared. To pick up wool, walk on it.
- You will get 1 to 3 blocks of wool for each sheep you shear.
- Be careful in Minecraft Pocket Edition. If you're not careful, you can kill the sheep. To shave properly, touch and hold on the screen, in the same way as when you break a block. Otherwise, this sheep shearing can hurt the sheep and will kill it after 8 shears.
Step 2. Harvest the crop
With scissors in hand, left click on the plant.
Note that some plants can be harvested without using scissors but some plants are better harvested with scissors, such as ferns, tall grass, vines, dead leaves and shrubs
Step 3. Destroy the cobwebs
Use scissors to get rid of cobwebs quickly. Left click to start your action. You will get a rope for the effort you have put in.
Step 4. Use scissors on the mushrooms
Right click and the effect is to produce red mushrooms and return the mushrooms to the cow.
Step 5. Crush the wool faster
If you misplace the wool, you may have to destroy it. Doing it without scissors can take a long time. To destroy, place the scissors in your hand and left click.
Scissors will not be damaged if used to destroy wool blocks
Tips
- If you want colored wool, you can dye the sheep before shearing.
- You can find more gold in the water.
- The leaves obtained with the scissors will become leaf blocks that can be placed somewhere and will not rot. The leaves will not produce new saplings.
