Method 1 of 3: Write SMS on Samsung Android
Step 1. Tap “Menu” and select “Messages

Step 2. Tap “New Message” or “Compose new message

Step 3. Enter the phone number of the person you want to send SMS to in the “To” field
Alternatively, you can start typing in the name of the person you want to text if their contact information is already available on your phone
Step 4. Type your message into the “Compose” field
Step 5. Tap “Send
” Your SMS will be sent to the recipient you selected.
Method 2 of 3: Write SMS on Phone with T9 Mode
Step 1. Press the left soft key to access the main menu of your phone
Step 2. Scroll and select “Messages

Step 5. Type in the SMS using the phone's keypad
If your Samsung phone does not have a traditional keypad, you will have to press the number keys which also display the letters of the alphabet. For example, to type the word "write" you would press "8 + 8 + 5 + 4 + 7".
Press the “down” navigation key to display and select another word if the Samsung dictionary doesn't show the suggested word you typed

If your Samsung phone does not have a traditional keypad, you will have to press the keypad several times until the alphabet in question appears on the screen.
