If you know someone's phone number, you can use it to find their Facebook account. As long as the number is linked to the correct account, the corresponding user account will be displayed when you search for a phone number on Facebook. Method 1 of 2: Via the Facebook.com Site
Step 1. Visit https://facebook.com via a web browser
This method can be followed through computers, mobile phones, and tablets.
Sign in to your account if prompted
Step 2. Click the search bar to activate the text field
This bar is at the top of the page.
Step 3. Enter the 11 or 12 digit mobile number, including the area code
Make sure you press Enter or Return on your keyboard to start the search. You can enter numbers in the format “+6281234567890” or “081234567890” because the number format does not affect the search.
One search result will be displayed. If you don't get results, the user in question may set his profile as private so that it won't show up in search results. It's also possible that he didn't link his Facebook account with the phone number you entered
Step 4. Click the search result
The account shown is the Facebook account associated with the number you entered.
Method 2 of 2: Via Mobile App
Step 1. Open Facebook on your phone or tablet
This app icon looks like a white “f” on a blue background. You can find it on your home screen or app drawer, or by searching for it.
This method applies to both iOS and Android phones or tablets
Step 2. Touch the search icon
It's a magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the app window.
When you touch the icon, a list of all recent search entries and the device keyboard will be displayed on the screen
Step 3. Type in the number you want to search
You may need to press the ?123 key on the keyboard to switch to non-alphabetic keyboard mode.
Step 4. Enter an 11 or 12 digit phone number (including area code)
Make sure you touch the search key or “Enter” on the keyboard to start the search. You can type “+6281234567890” or “081234567890” because the number format doesn't affect the search.
The search results will be displayed. If you don't get results, the user in question may have set his/her profile as a private profile so that it won't show up in search results
