This wikiHow teaches you how to search all Facebook posts by keyword. The uploads are filtered by time they were uploaded. This guide is for setting up Facebook in English.

Method 1 of 2: Searching All Uploads
Step 1. Visit Facebook.com in a browser
If you're not logged into your Facebook account, sign in with the one you have. Enter your email address or phone number and password
Step 2. Click the search box
The search box is in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Enter keywords in the search box
This will search all users, uploads, and photos.
Step 4. Press Enter on the keyboard
It will search for groups, photos, and pages that match the keywords you entered.
Step 5. Click Posts
This button is next to All below the search box at the top of the screen. This button will show a list of public uploads and Facebook friends that match the keywords you entered.
Step 6. Select the upload time under DATE POSTED
You can find the DATE POSTED menu on the left side of the screen. Select a date in this menu to view old uploads.
Method 2 of 2: Finding Liked Posts
Step 1. Visit Facebook.com in a browser
If you're not logged into your Facebook account, sign in with the one you have. Enter your email address or phone number and password
Step 2. Visit your profile page
Click your name next to the home button on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. You can also click your name in the navigation menu located on the left side of the screen.
Step 3. Click View Activity Log
It's in the lower-right corner of your profile cover photo.
Step 4. Click the box labeled “Activity Search”
This search box is above the “Activity Log and has a different function than the regular search box. This option will search all your activity logs on Facebook, including uploads, likes, comments, events, and profile updates.
Step 5. Enter keywords related to your old post
Short keywords will show more search results
Step 6. Press Enter key on the keyboard
All activity related to the keywords you entered will appear, including your uploads, posts you're tagged in, other users' uploads, and uploads you've hidden.
Step 7. Swipe down to find old uploads
The Activity Log page uses reverse chronological order. Therefore, your old uploads are at the bottom of the page.
