The types of posts with GIFs in them may be familiar to you on Tumblr. This doesn't mean you know how to make one, especially if you've never done it. Actually, the process for creating this kind of post is quite simple. If you already know how to create new posts or reblog other people's posts, you can definitely do this.

Method 1 of 2: Method 1: Inserting a-g.webp" />
Step 1. Go to your Tumblr dashboard
Visit the Tumblr homepage and if necessary, sign in with the account you created. By doing this, you will be directly connected to the dashboard.
- If you didn't sign out of Tumblr earlier, you'll be directly connected to the dashboard when you access the main page.

Step 2. Create a new post
Look for the posts bar at the very top of the dashboard, and after that the "Text" option box. Click the box once to create a new post.
- Usually the post bar is next to your avatar. The "Text" option box will appear first, which is on the far left, and is marked with an icon A A.
- The post text edit box will appear as soon as the "Text" option box is pressed.
Step 3. Click the camera icon in the edit box
Click the "Your text here" area of the edit box to bring up the plus button (+) beside it. Clicking the button will bring up several other options, including an icon with a camera, a movie projector, a box labeled GIF, a horizontal line, and a rectangle with three dots inside. Of all these options, click the first one that appears.
- The plus button is to the left of the edit box, below the avatar. While the camera icon appears first from the row of options that appear.
- A dialog box that says "Open File" will appear once the icon is clicked.
Step 4. Find and select the-g.webp" />
Browse various directories on your computer until you find the-g.webp

- Before publishing a post, remember that you have to save the selected-g.webp" />
Step 5. Wait for the-g.webp" />
After selecting, you'll need to wait until the-g.webp
- How fast or slow the process is will depend on the size of the-g.webp" />
- Once the upload is complete, the selected-g.webp" />
Step 6. Resize the-g.webp" />
If you want to reduce the size of a GIF, you'll need to do so from the HTML window in the edit box.
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner of the edit box. From there a drop-down menu will appear. Look for the "Text editor" option, then click the down arrow next to it. Select "HTML" from the available options.
- In the HTML window, find the name of the-g.webp" />
- Take a look at the new-g.webp" />
Step 7. Add other information into the post
You can simply publish a GIF, but usually people will add a title and a few hashtags before publishing their post.
- Click the "Title" box and type the desired title.
- Click the "#tags" box at the very bottom of the edit box and type the hashtags you want to include in the post. Use symbol # before starting each hashtag to set it apart from the rest.
- You can also add some words in the text box, either before or after the GIF.
Step 8. Press the “Post” button
If you think your post is complete, click the "Post" button in the bottom right corner to finish and 'drop' it onto the dashboard for anyone to see.

Method 2 of 2: Method 2: Adding-g.webp" />
Step 1. Find the post you want to reblog

If you're not reblogging, look for the post you want to reblog on the dashboard. You can reblog posts from the dashboard or from other people's blogs.
Make sure you're already on Tumblr before moving on to the next step. Posts can still be viewed, but will not be reblogable if you are not logged into the site
Step 2. Click the reblog icon
It is shaped like two rotating arrows. Press the icon to open the edit reblog post box.
The edit box is indeed similar to the new post edit box. The difference is in the content. The edit box for the post to be rebloged already contains text, an image, or a video which will be located above the text box
Step 3. Click the camera icon
Click inside the "Add a caption" text box to display the plus icon (+) to the left of the edit box. Press this icon. Another row of icons will appear next to it. From here, click on the camera icon.
The "Open File" dialog box will appear after that
Step 4. Find and select the GIF
Browse the directories on your computer until you find the-g.webp
- Without having to press the "Open" button, you can also upload GIFs by double-clicking the file.

Step 5. Let the-g.webp" />
Once the Open button is pressed, Tumblr will begin the process of uploading the-g.webp

Step 6. If you like, resize the GIF
You can tweak the size of the-g.webp
- Look for the gear-shaped icon in the top-right corner of the edit box, just above the original post. Click this icon and look for the "Text editor" option at the bottom of the list that appears. Change the initial option to "HTML."

Step 7. Add opinions or other information into the post
Posts can be reblogged right away with GIFs, but if you want to add your own words, you'll need to do so now.
- Text can be added into the "Add a caption" text box above or below the GIF.
- Also note that you can add hashtags into the "#tags" box, if you like. Since you are only re-blog, the post title does not need to be entered again.
Step 8. Click the “Reblog” button
If you are satisfied with the results of the post, press the "Reblog" button in the lower right corner of the edit box.
