To clear WhatsApp data, open WhatsApp → Select " Settings " → Touch " Chats " → Select " Clear All Chats " → Return to the application.

Method 1 of 3: On iOS Devices
Step 1. Open the WhatsApp application
Step 2. Touch Settings

Step 1. Open the WhatsApp application

Method 3 of 3: On a Desktop Computer
Step 1. Open the WhatsApp application

Step 4. Click Clear Messages
After that, all messages that are on the selected thread will be deleted.
Step 5. Click Delete Chat
After that, the thread and its entire message will be deleted from the computer.

Your contact name has now been changed for all applications that use or sync with the Contacts application on Mac computers.
