Your Google Account is your ticket to take full advantage of Google Chrome. When you log into Chrome with your Google account, all of your saved passwords and bookmarks will load, no matter what computer you're on. You will also automatically be signed in to all Google services such as Gmail, Drive, and YouTube. You can also connect Chrome to your Chromecast, which will allow you to cast your open tabs onto your TV screen.

Method 1 of 3: Sign in to Chrome
Step 1. Click the Chrome Menu button (☰)
You can sign in to Chrome using your Google account, which will sync all your saved bookmarks, extensions and passwords. It allows you to use any Chrome browser as if it were your own.
If you're running Chrome after installing it for the first time, you'll be prompted to sign in to your Google Account as soon as Chrome starts up without having to open the Settings menu
Step 2. Select "Settings" from the Chrome menu
Step 3. Click the button
Sign in to Chrome.
Step 4. Enter your Google account email and password

Step 5. Wait a while, while Chrome syncs your information
It may take a minute to load all your bookmarks. Your extension will also be installed, which can also take a while.
Method 2 of 3: Switch User in Chrome
Step 1. Click the username in the upper right corner of the Chrome window
The latest version of Chrome has significantly simplified the user switching process. Clicking on the active username allows you to sign in with another Google account, which will load all bookmarks and saved passwords from that account in a new Chrome window.

Step 2. Click "Switch person"
This will open a small window containing all the existing users.
Step 3. Click the "Add person" option
If you don't see this option, perform the following steps:
- Click the Chrome Menu button (☰).
- Select "Settings".
- Check the box "Enable user creation from the profile manager" in the "People" section.
Step 4. Sign in with the account you want to add
You can sign in with the Google account you want to add to Chrome. A new Chrome window will appear with the username in the top right corner.
Step 5. Open Profile Manager to switch between active accounts
Once you've added accounts, you can quickly switch between accounts by clicking on the active name in the upper right corner. Each account will open in a separate window.
Method 3 of 3: Connecting Chrome with Chromecast
Step 1. Connect the Chromecast with the display you want to use
Before installing the Chromecast software on your computer, connect the Chromecast to the device you want to use.
- If your Chromecast doesn't match your TV's HDMI port, use the HDMI extender that came with your Chromecast.
- Make sure that the Chromecast is also plugged into a power source.
Step 2. Switch your TV to the proper HDMI input
The HDMI input number is usually printed next to the port on the TV.
Step 3. Download the Chromecast App for your computer or mobile device
You can download it from chromecast.com/setup.
Step 4. Run the app and follow the prompts to set up your Chromecast
You only need to do it once, then you can connect any device.
- Run the app and select "Set Up a New Chromecast"
- Let the app connect to your new Chromecast.
- Make sure the code on the TV matches the code in the setup program.
- Set the wireless network settings for your Chromecast.
Step 5. Click the "Start Using Chromecast" button
This will open a Google Chrome tab that will allow you to install the Google Cast extension. Follow the prompts to install the extension on Chrome.
If you set up your Chromecast via your phone or tablet, you'll need to manually install the Google Cast extension on your computer by visiting the Chrome Web Store. You can open the Chrome Web Store by clicking the Chrome Menu button, then selecting "More tools" → "Extensions", then clicking "Get more extensions" at the bottom of the list
Step 6. Start inserting Chrome tabs into Chromecast
Now that the Google Cast extension is installed, you can cast your Google Chrome tabs into your Chromecast.
- Navigate to the content you want to cast on your Chromecast.
- Click the "Google Cast" extension button at the top of the Chrome window. It's next to the Chrome menu button.
- Select your Chromecast under "Cast this tab to…". Your current tab will appear on your TV.
