The pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer prevents pop-ups from most sites while you browse the internet. This feature is very useful for getting rid of ads, but can interfere with the functionality of some sites. Turning off the pop-up blocker, or lowering the block level, will allow you to reuse these sites.
Step
Step 1. Open Internet Explorer
If you're using a Surface or Windows tablet, tap Desktop on the Start screen or All Apps, then tap the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.
Step 2. Click or tap the cog button or the Tools menu
If the menu doesn't appear, press Alt, then click Tools.
Step 3. Select Internet options to open the Internet Options window
Step 4. Click or tap the tab
privacy.
Step 5. Uncheck the "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" box, then click or tap Apply to save changes
Step 6. Consider changing the block level, instead of turning off the pop-up blocker
Click or tap the Settings button to open the Pop-up Blocker settings, then use the menu at the bottom of the window to set the setting to Low. With this setting, pop-ups from most sites that really rely on pop-ups to function will still work, but suspicious pop-ups will be blocked. You can also exclude certain sites, so that pop-ups from those sites will still appear.
