Method 1 of 2: Using Giphy
Step 1. Log into the Slack team
Visit the team workspace URL via a web browser, or go to

The Giphy page will open in the Slack app directory.
Step 3. Click the Install button
It's a green button in the left column of the page.
Step 4. Click Add Giphy Integration
Step 5. Choose a-g.webp" />
The default rating is set to “G” (for the general audience), but you can select a different option from the drop-down menu.
Step 6. Click Save Integration
Now Giphy is ready to use.
Step 7. Reopen the Slack team workspace page
Step 8. Click the channel you want to send the animated-g.webp" />
The channel list is shown in the left column of the page.
Step 9. Type /giphy and press Enter key
Replace “” with a word/phrase that describes the type/theme of the animated-g.webp
For example, if you want to share a cat-themed-g.webp" />
Step 10. Click Shuffle to see more matching animations
Keep pressing the button until you find the animated-g.webp
Step 11. Click Send
