This wikiHow teaches you how to store and review documents on iPhone using iCloud Drive, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive. This internet storage service (cloud storage service) allows you to securely store documents on the internet and send them back to your iPhone for reading off the network.

Method 1 of 3: Using iCloud Drive
Step 1. Open the iCloud Drive app
This app is marked by a white icon with a blue cloud.
If prompted, follow the on-screen prompts to sign in or configure iCloud
Step 2. Open the desired document
If you received a PDF, Word, or other document via email, text message, or other sharing method, or you're reviewing it over the web, touch the document on iPhone for a preview.
Step 3. Touch the “Share” icon
It's usually a square icon with an arrow pointing up in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Step 4. Touch the Add to iCloud Drive button
The button is indicated by a gray cloud icon with an arrow pointing up.
Step 5. Select the storage folder
Touch the desired document storage folder.
Step 6. Open the iCloud Drive app
Step 7. Touch the previously selected document storage folder
Step 8. Touch the saved document
Now you can view the document via iPhone.
Method 2 of 3: Using Google Drive
Step 1. Download the Google Drive app from the App Store
If the Google Drive app isn't already installed on your iPhone, look for the app in the App Store, then tap the “ GET, and select INSTALL ” to download it to the device.
Step 2. Open the desired document
If you received a document such as a PDF, Word, or RTF file via email, text message, or other sharing method, or you viewed it over the web, touch the desired document on iPhone to display a preview.
Step 3. Touch the “Share” icon
It's usually a square icon with an arrow pointing up in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Step 4. Swipe the screen to the left and select Copy to Drive
These options are indicated by a blue, green, and yellow triangular icon.
If prompted, sign in to Drive using your Google account
Step 5. Touch the SAVE button
Step 6. Open Google Drive
The app is marked by a blue, green, and yellow triangular icon.
Step 7. Touch the saved file
Usually, the file is displayed in the upper-left corner of the screen, under the "Quick Access" section.
Step 8. Touch the button
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 9. Slide the "Available offline" switch to the "On" position (marked in blue)
It's next to the circle icon with a white tick (✔️).
Step 10. Touch the file name at the top of the screen
Now the file will be downloaded to make it available for access offline via iPhone, as well as through the internet-based Google Driver server.
You can review and edit documents offline without using an internet connection
Method 3 of 3: Using Microsoft OneDrive for iPhone
Step 1. Download the Microsoft OneDrive app from the App Store
If the OneDrive app isn't already installed on your device, look for it in the App Store, then tap the “ GET, and select INSTALL ” to download it.
Step 2. Open the desired document
If you received a document such as a PDF, Word, or RTF file via email, text message, or other sharing method, or you viewed it over the web, touch the desired document on iPhone to display a preview.
Step 3. Touch the “Share” icon
It's usually a square icon with an arrow pointing up in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Step 4. Swipe left and select Import with OneDrive
This option is indicated by a blue icon with a white cloud.
Step 5. Touch the Upload to OneDrive option
It's at the bottom of the screen.
If prompted, follow the on-screen prompts to sign in or create a Microsoft account
Step 6. Select the storage folder
Touch the folder where you want to save the document.
Step 7. Touch the Select This Location button
It's at the bottom of the screen.
Step 8. Open the OneDrive app
Step 9. Touch the folder that was previously selected as the location to save the document
Step 10. Touch the saved document
Step 11. Touch the button
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 12. Touch the Make Available Offline option
It's next to the parachute icon. Now, the document is stored in the iPhone storage space, as well as in the internet storage space (cloud storage). You can view and edit documents without using an internet connection.
