This wikiHow teaches you how to get a direct link to a Facebook post so you can share it with others.

Step 1. Visit
If the login screen appears instead of News Feed, enter the username and password in the fields provided, then press the button Login.
Step 2. Search for the desired post
Do this by browsing the News Feed page, or using the search feature available at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Click the time stamp on the post
This is the text that indicates how long ago the post was made. Timestamps are generally displayed below the sender's name. The post you want will be opened.
Step 4. Double-click the address field
This is the address field containing the URL (eg facebook.com) located at the top of your web browser. The address will be highlighted once you double click on it.

Step 5. Right-click the highlighted address
If there is no right mouse button on your computer, press Ctrl while clicking the left button. This will display a drop-down menu.
Step 6. Click Copy
Doing so will save the URL address on the clipboard, ready to be pasted anywhere.
Step 7. Paste the link by pressing Ctrl+V (on Windows) or Cmd+V (for macOS).
You can paste it anywhere, for example in a new post, email message, or your personal blog.
