Particleboard is made of compacted wood chips so that screws often come loose or cause them to tear. Fortunately, there are several ways to repair screw holes so you can hide the damage or keep the screws tight. Step 1. The best options for making simple repairs are wood glue and sawdust
Make a thick paste by mixing sawdust and wood glue. Insert the mixture into the screw holes and press down firmly with a kape (putty knife). Allow the paste to dry and harden overnight. After that, use sandpaper to smooth the rough edges so that they are flush with the wood surface.
- Try to use sawdust that is the same color as the wood so you don't see the patch once you're done.

Tap the anchor until it goes fully into the hole. After that, screw on the inside of the anchor and tighten it with a screwdriver.
