This wikiHow teaches you how to create a PayPal payment link to send to friends or clients (or upload to social media) so you can receive payments.

Method 1 of 2: Via Desktop Site
Step 1. Open PayPal
Visit https://www.paypal.com/ through your computer's web browser.
Step 2. Sign in to your account if necessary
If your PayPal page does not open automatically, click the “ Login ” in the top right corner of the page, type in your email address and password, and click “ Login After that, you can click “ My PayPal ” in the upper right corner to access the private page.
Step 3. Click Send & Request
This tab is at the top of the page.
Step 4. Click the Requests tab
This tab is at the top of the page “ Send & Request ”.
Step 5. Click Share your PayPal. Me
This link is on the right side of the page. A window with a PayPal link will open.
Step 6. Copy the link
You'll see the PayPal link under your profile photo, at the top of the window. Click and drag the cursor on the link to select it, then press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Command+C (Mac) to copy the link.
Step 7. Paste the link where desired
Go to the social media page, email inbox, or other medium where you want to paste the link, click the text field you want to use, and press Ctrl+V or Command+V. The link will appear in the text field after that.
You can upload or send a link, depending on the platform to which the link is added (eg if you are using an email service, enter the recipient's email address and click the " Send " button)
Method 2 of 2: Via Mobile App
Step 1. Open PayPal
Tap the PayPal app icon, which looks like a white “P” on a dark blue background. The PayPal personal page will be displayed if you are already signed in to your account.
- If prompted to sign in, type in your email address and password, then tap “ Login ” before continuing.
- If you are using an iPhone or Android device that has a fingerprint ID, you may be asked to scan your fingerprint instead of entering a password.
Step 2. Touch Requests
This tab is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Tap Share your link to get paid
It's at the top of the screen. After that, a new menu will be opened and you can share the PayPal payment link through that menu.
Step 4. Select the application
Touch the app you want to use to share the link. An application window will be opened and a payment link will be displayed in the "Share" column.
For example, if you want to send a PayPal payment link to a friend via text message, tap the phone's messaging app icon. The messaging app will be opened and the payment link will be displayed in the text field
Step 5. Enter contact information if necessary
If you want to share the link via text message or email, for example, enter the contact information (or contact group) of the recipient of the link.
If you are sharing the link via social media, skip this step
Step 6. Send or upload the link
After adding the required information to the link, touch the button “ Send " or " Post ” to share the link.
