This wikiHow teaches you how to cancel your subscription on the App Store, as well as request a refund for content purchased on your iPhone or iPad.

Method 1 of 2: Canceling Subscriptions on the App Store on iPhone or iPad
Step 1. Open the App Store
You can find this icon on one of the device's home screens.
Step 2. Touch the profile photo
The photo you selected for your Apple ID (in a circle) appears in the upper-right corner of the App Store window. The “Account” pop-up menu will load afterwards.
Step 3. Touch Apple ID and enter the password when prompted
This option is the first option in the “Account” pop-up window. You can see the “Account Settings” menu after that.
Step 4. Touch Subscriptions
This option is the second from last option at the bottom of the “Account Settings” menu. A list of all your subscriptions will be displayed.
Step 5. Touch the subscription you want to cancel
You can view subscription details in the " Edit Subscription " menu.
Step 6. Touch Cancel Subscription
This red text is at the bottom of the " Edit Subscription " menu, below the list of plans you're subscribed to. A confirmation pop-up window will appear.
If you are using a free trial service, the text displayed is "Cancel Free Trial"
Step 7. Touch Confirm
This option is the second option in the confirmation pop-up window. Subscription will be terminated at the end of the current billing period.
Method 2 of 2: Requesting a Refund on iPhone or iPad
Step 1. Open Mail
This app icon looks like a white envelope on a light blue gradient background. You can find it in the Dock at the bottom of the screen or on one of the device's home screens.
You can submit a refund request from the purchase receipt sent by email, or by visiting https://reportapproblem.apple.com from any browser on a desktop computer or mobile device
Step 2. Open the email receipt from the App Store
You can search for receipts using the search phrase "Your receipt from Apple," or by email date by typing the date in the search bar at the top of the Mail app window.
Once found, touch the email to open it. You can see the purchase details in the email
Step 3. Touch Report a Problem
This option is next to the purchase you want to report for a refund.
You will be directed to Apple's website to complete the process
Step 4. Enter the Apple ID and password
You will need to be logged in to your account in order to continue.
Step 5. Touch Choose a Problem
A drop-down menu will load.
Step 6. Select the problem you are experiencing
You'll need to submit a request for funding for review, contact iTunes support, or contact the app developer, depending on the issue you selected.
Step 7. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue with the report
If you submit a refund request, you'll be able to email Apple for a response to a refund within a few days. If you contact iTunes support or the app developer, you will be prompted to enter a chat window, initiate a phone call, or send an email.
