If you're one of the millions of people who use Pinterest every day, chances are you've built up a lot of contacts and search history through this app. This can be bad for a number of reasons; your computer's performance is slower than usual due to storing extra information, or it could be due to other glitches. Clearing your search history is easy, and today you'll learn how to do it.

Step 1. Sign in to Pinterest
The first thing to do is log into your Pinterest account at www.pinterest.com, with your username and password.
Don't worry if you can't remember the information to log into your account; they have installed a program that can send the password back. All you need is the email address you used to create your account
Step 2. Go to “Settings”
Once you are logged in, click on the “profile” tab at the top right of the screen.
A drop down list will appear. Click "Settings"; this option will be on the second line just below the “profile” tab
Step 3. Go to “Search History”
On the settings page, scroll down until you see the “Search History” category, just below “Personalization”.
Step 4. Clear search history
Click on the “Clear Recent Searches” button. You will notice that the button is faded and unclickable. This means that you have successfully deleted your search history!
