If you do not verify your Yahoo account, your account will be deleted after a certain period of time. This verification process does not depend on the computer operating system, so users of any operating system can follow it. To verify your Yahoo account, read step 1.
Step
Step 1. Sign in to your alternate email account
When you create a Yahoo! for the first time, you will be asked to enter the email address that will be used to receive the verification link. Log into the alternative email account by entering the email address and password on the email client you are using.

To find the Spam folder, look at the left pane of your email client and scroll until you see the Spam folder. Click the folder. Some email clients may hide the Spam folder and other rarely used folders, so when that happens, click "More" (or another button that does the same thing) in the left pane. After that, look for the verification email in the Spam folder
Step 3. Verify your Yahoo

- Read the text before the link to find out which link is the verification link. Verification links generally have a note explaining that the link is an account verification link.
- Click the verification link. You will be logged into your Yahoo! You.
