This wikiHow teaches you how to verify your PayPal account so you can send, receive, and withdraw money with fewer restrictions.

Step 1. Visit https://www.paypal.com/ via a browser
If you are not logged into your account automatically, click the “ Login ” in the upper-right corner of the browser window and enter your login information.
Step 2. Click Summary
It's in the top-left corner of the window.
If you're on a mobile device and can't see the tab “ Summary ", click " Menu ” in the top-left corner of the window first.
Step 3. Scroll down and click See how much you can send with PayPal
This option is in the "More about your account" section.
Step 4. Click Get Verified
It's at the top of the window.
Verified PayPal users only need to pay lower fees, and have fewer limits (eg a smaller limit on the amount of money that can be sent, received, or withdrawn to a bank account)
Step 5. Follow the steps shown on the screen to get verified
In the United States, if you want to become a verified PayPal user, you need to complete two of the following three steps:
- Enter and connect the bank account and routing number. After that, if the instant link feature is not available, verify the amount of the deposit that PayPal made on the account within two to three working days;
- Enter and connect the debit or credit card number, including the expiration date, billing address, and card security code. After that, verify the code listed in the description of the transaction that PayPal made within one to two days; or
- Enter your social security card number.
- PayPal account verification requirements vary from country to country. In Indonesia itself, you usually only need to enter your bank account information and connect a credit card to your account. Make sure you always follow the account verification steps shown to find out what the requirements are.
