The power of ice is an imaginary superpower possessed by a person who is able to control snow and ice. You can pretend to have ice powers and impress your friends by dressing up as someone who has ice powers, doing ice-related activities, and convincing your friends that you have ice powers.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Dressing Like Someone With Ice Power
Step 1. Wear white and blue clothes
To convince others that you have the power of ice, you must have a winter-inspired appearance. Wear blue, white, or silver clothes for an icy look. You can also wear snow-patterned clothes such as a snowman or ice flower.
Step 2. Color your hair with blue and white stripes
Amp up your icy look by adding a winter color to your hair. You can use a temporary hair powder that is applied to the hair like eye shadow, then fade, such as Hot Huez. Experiment with blue, white, and silver for a cool icy look.
Step 3. Wear a snowflake patterned accessory
Wear a necklace, bracelet, ring, or earring that has a snowflake pattern. You can also wear a silver knit scarf to accentuate the icy feel.
- If you don't have a snowflake pattern, use silver jewelry. The color is more appropriate than gold.
- Wear crystal jewelry because they look similar to ice.
Step 4. Try mixing and matching nail polish colors
Nail polish can complement your icy look. You can search the internet for tips on how to design an ice flower or snowman on your nails, or simply use blue or silver nail polish. You can also use nail polish that has glitter to add a unique and magical feel to your appearance.
Step 5. Put on a glossy white and blue eye shadow
Look for eye shadow shades of winter like white and blue. You can also go for some shimmery colors to add a magical atmosphere.
Method 2 of 3: Convincing Others That You Have the Power of Ice
Step 1. Express that you are not bothered by cold temperatures
The possessor of the power of ice is immune to the chill when it touches ice and snow. Describe how ice and snow don't leave you feeling cold.
If the other person is wearing layers of clothing in cold weather, say, "I'm most comfortable in the snow," or "Cold temperatures never bother me."
Step 2. Dip your hands in cold water before touching your friend
To make others think you have the power of ice, place your hand under a cold tap, or dip your hand in ice water for up to 20 seconds. After that, dry your hands and touch your friend's skin.
If they flinch or comment how cold your hands are, act as if you didn't notice. Say, "Oh yeah? I think I'm strong today
Step 3. Look glumly at your hands when someone touches ice or snow
When someone is talking about ice or snow, glance at your hands as if they were the cause. You can also add a sigh to get the other person's attention.
If someone comments on snowy weather, say, "Sometimes, I don't know how great my powers are."
Step 4. Tell people about the upcoming snowy weather
Watch out for the snowy days to come. When people talk about the weather, imply that you are the cause of an impending blizzard.
You can say, “I'm dropping sal-…I mean it's going to snow on Tuesday,” or “I'm going to bring in b-…I mean, there's going to be a blizzard this weekend.”
Method 3 of 3: Doing Ice-Related Activities
Step 1. Take part in winter sports
Participate in winter sports to really feel the ice and snow. You could try ice skating, or skiing, or simply sledding.
If other people comment on your winter activities, respond with, “I feel comfortable surrounded by snow….”
Step 2. Play on a snowy day
Use your free time to play in the snow. Make a snow angel, join a snow war, or make a snowman with friends.
If someone comments on your snowman, say, "You should have seen what he looked like before I turned him into snow!"
Step 3. Watch movies that have characters with the power of ice
Watching these films will help you find out how people with ice powers behave. List the things they do to illustrate their strengths so you can emulate them.
Frozen, Jack Frost, Batman, and Adventure Time have characters with the power of ice
Step 4. Read winter books
Books with a winter mood will keep your mind set on the power of ice. These books usually have icy-powered characters that can inspire you. Try reading The Snow Queen, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Frosty the Snowman.
Tips
- Every now and then, bring an ice cube. Your acting will be more convincing if you actually pop the ice in front of other people.
- Make your lips dark blue. You can use blue lip gloss or buy blue lipstick.
- Never burn your skin or stay out in the sun too long. Always use a pale foundation.
